GO ELSEWHERE!!! Just went in the restaurant on 4/21/22 at 6pm. Was not too busy. Was seated immediately, we had a child with us and was not offered a highchair or booster, and there was trash all over the floor(see pics), we stayed to give it a chance, then after 10 mins and no one waiting on us for even drinks, we decided ro go next door to O'Charleys. Save your time and do NOT GO to Cheddars. Terrible customer service since we were last there. This use to be my favorite restaurant in the city to visit but no longer. If service was this bad during a somewhat slow period, I can't imagine when they are busy. We left the hostess know on the way out and she went to tell the manager. Terrible, terrible, terrible.

Cheddars has always been my husband's favorite restaurant When we walked into the door on April 20th we were told it was gonna be a 5 minute wait which turned into a 20-25 minute wait. We were seated waitresses kept walking by us hostesses were seating people after 25+ minutes of sitting there I asked the 1 waitress if we had a waitress, she responded with u haven't been waited on yet & I told her no so she took our order at after which the girl who was our waitress showed up. She apologized when she brought out water but she wasn't very friendly. We ordered a appetizer of the new Wisconsin cheese bites a different girl brought them out they were good. We had a couple of alcoholic drinks island tiki which were ok but we ended up ordered a sangria & a cheddars long Island on the kiosk for our next drink. 5/10minutes later she brought our food over asked if there was anything else she could get us I said we ordered drinks so she said she'd go check on them. My husband & I ordered the same think sirloin duo with ribs loaded mashed potatos& broccoli casserole. The broccoli casserole & potatoes were good I a couple bites of my steak were good but the ribs were burnt basically they were hard & dried out. We should have complained but we didn't we had a waitress who was not nice so what would she had done. We have always had a good experience at cheddars & food has always been great but this was the worst experience ever & we wished we had gone to the outback across the road it was disappointing. I should have asked to talk to the manager but I didn't do that either I doubt we will ever return to cheddars again.

Our first time there and we loved it! The staff was all quite young, but did an excellent job, very polite and knowledgeable. We loved the croissants, our salads were decent size and very nice, and the beer battered shrimp was amazing. Our server was great, personable and did a wonderful job. We will be back!!Parking: Numerous handicapped spots which is greatly appreciated.
i'm going to say.... i'd never heard of this place before until i was visiting from out of town and passed it. sounded amazing in concept and the images really sold me on the food.i hate to complain because at least i didn't have to make my meal but i was very underwhelmed. i wish i had paid more attention to what was in the monte cristo but was really expecting something more than american cheese (my fault) but the ham had a weird taste too. i'm not the pickiest eater (honestly happy with drive thrus) but maybe it was because of the price. it just tasted oddly processed despite being a 'from scratch' dish.i ordered the dish that was essentially a choice of a bunch of sides and the carrots were sort of undercooked. i didn't expect it when i first bit into it and was legit nervous i cracked a tooth (my fault but still)i think the worst part and maybe this is the reason the monte cristo kind of just seemed like processed mush to me: having takeout the styrofoam boxes didn't have any holes or venting so by time i picked up my food and drove a few miles back to the hotel (comfort inn) it was soggy mush from the condensation. so maybe if i had eaten at the restaurant the food would have tasted better.i was also underwhelmed re the portions of the sides. not saying i needed heaping servings but it was almost laughably small. maybe it was because it was towards the end of the night, order went in at 8:10pm. I mean, it's not the end of the world but it was a bit underwhelming.overall not sure how much is a 'me' issue versus the restaurant but personally it's not for me when i think about the one bite i took from the monte cristo, spit out, and disposed of the rest, feeling pretty guilty about it, there was just no salvaging it. maybe if at home i could've put it in the oven to reheat and reduce the moisture.note: the croissants were great!!! but they were also casualties to the styrofoam boxes too and deflated and soggy so they almost had an undercooked taste and texture from the added water.

Great food! Great place! If you are in Erie PA please try this place it’s awesome! The cheddar broccoli rice is delicious! Food is hot and fresh and the prices are very reasonable! The restaurant is very nice and very clean! We drive over an hour for lunch or dinner ( after a visit to TJmaxx ,ROSS and Marshall’s of course , fun little quick trip!
