I wish there were more places like this around town. The staff was very welcoming and observant. The place has a cool feel to it.

The best food in Erie! Their online ordering system is very easy to use, and pickup is quick. They have great vegetarian options, friendly staff, and are located right downtown. Absolutely give them a try, and be ready to have a new favorite takeout spot.

Great food good potions. They will adjust the heat level for you. We had the vegetable momos (dipping sauce was fantastic) tandoori shrimp, a mixed seafood curry, and an eggplant dish. Plenty to choose from for vegetarians and meat lovers. Will definitely return.

My husband and I were a little hesitant about Indian food but we were so happy we gave it a try. We started with the beef samosa appetizer, which was stuffed with delicious beef and covered with a flaky, crispy crust. So good! For entrees, I ordered the garlic shrimp curry and my husband got the seafood makhani. We also ordered a side of garlic naan. My shrimp curry was delicious, but did not surpass the amazing flavor of the seafood makhani - which I will definitely order when we return. The naan was okay, but was not a standout. Our service was very good and the waitress did a nice job of explaining the sauces and spices. We look forward to coming back to the Darjeeling Kitchen and tasting more from their interesting menu.

Very delicious.... I and my family were on vacation and we went there for lunch, and the restaurant was close as we were late.. but on my husband request they opened it for us,(since i was with my mom ...so we decided to go for Indian food ).... We were not expecting to high.. but unbelievable food was awesome.... specially paneer, momoes, hot onion kulcha, and everything.... and i ended up ordering extra momo for to-go...specially momoes sauce was like exactly one i had in darjeeling trip... Thanks to chef for delicious food.

The worst experience I have had with an Indian/ Nepalese Restaurant. The order was delivered completely wrong. I ordered a lamb kebab and two things of naan and two things of rice. I opened my food to a completely different lamb dish with spice well above my liking. So i called in to see if they’d send my order after paying $30 and they didn't answer. Knowing I called an employee called off a cell phone to say he’d bring naan and I asked about my lamb and was told “next time” and drove off.

Excellent Indian food. You tell them how spicy you want it, on a scale from 1 to 10.

2nd time ordering a pick up. Their food always taste fresh and hot. It is seasoned to perfection. I typically order Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Jalfreezy:-) highly recommend this place.

I had the goat rogan josh. It was fantastic. But BEWARE!! The way the goat is prepared left shards of bone throughout the dish. I don't at all mind bones, but the shards pierced my mouth. I slowed down eating, but I kept on crunching in pieces. Otherwise, it would have received 5 stars.
