I found Jade Garden originally when I moved to Erie in 2012. It is so close to where I live and right beside a Dollar Tree. Very convenient. I am particular about certain kinds of Chinese food and have been very happy with what Jade Garden offers. Their Chicken Chow Mein and egg rolls are my favorite in Erie. They have terrific Lo Mein as well and a very inexpensive menu. Their service is very fast, but accurate. The food is fresh and I have never received an incomplete order. For your money and good quality food I recommend Jade Garden.

According to the TripAdvisor pics this was shown to be a buffet. Jade Garden has been reduced to take out only. Not even dine in. That space is used for storage. See pics. No sweet sour sauce... Duck sauce completely different. Pork fried rice was cooked and dry and yellow (curry?). Shrimp Egg roll, eh. Dark gravy for mushroom egg foo yung was thick soy sauce. Egg drop soup was disappointing too.

Been eating here for the last couple years and it's definitely gone down hill. Honey chicken and general tso's chicken is just crunchy breading with sauce.threw my meal away and my jaw still hurts from crunching.

We ordered beef and broccoli stir fry and kung pao chicken-- both completely flavorless, and frozen mixed vegetables were used instead of fresh chopped and sauteed veggies. I ended up throwing my meal away. I hate writing a bad review; I love Chinese people and want their businesses to succeed, but I also care for fellow customers who want a good dining experience. BTW, no indoor seating; takeout only.

This used to be my spot when I lived on East Grandview it is wheelchair accesible with single manual entry door did not have Wi-Fi last time I was there , has high chairs . I am creature of habit house special Singapore mei fun is my goto dish meat , shrimp & vegetables with rice noodles in a spicy curry sauce , we got it delivered ( being into spicy this dish is barely a 2 in heat for me , but it has great intense flavor ) I have had it other places that’s closer to 4 or sometimes 5 . It’s a very enjoyable dish . I went one night late for egg roll craving and it cost me $2,000 as the steering column went I walked him eating my egg rolls , yes once upon a time I walked and drove , today I am “all roll no stroll and no driving “ . In the early 2000 Jade had a fabulous Mongolian barbeque also .under questions it always asks if a place is “comfort food “ I know what average people think and then there’s me . I still am a “celebrity” at a Chinese restaurant , they know me on sight ( my sister also ) because they remember my mom and dad celebrating my mom being pregnant with both of us and they remember us eating our 1 st solid food as babies , my parents favorite dish they always ordered was sweet and sour chicken with leeches (to the Chinese it is a nut ,to an American it’s a fruit ,to me that’s heaven unusual dish very hard to find , that’s my comfort food that’s my on ramp to nostalgia , sorry soul food & Mac n cheese and sweet potato pie I do love all of you in your own right but my comfort food is stuff I was eating in the womb and beyond .

They no longer have dining, but still have the best Chinese in Erie in my opinion.
