There are several things about this restaurant that many people overlook. The menu goes deeper than the print on it. The quality of the food is the ideal in any Asian restaurant. The creativity and presentation are both pillars of the service. Dolly Hu is the proprietor and a legacy restauranteur of the region. She and her staff can make nearly anything you can crave from any region of the Chinese provinces and they will do their best to present in authenticity or in more American style. If you are looking for quantity over quality and the standard American fare of "Chinese food, " Little Taipei may not be your first choice. However, if you want spot on Asian cuisine as it's served in more authentic locations, this is your new place. I recommend the Hunan and Szechuan dishes without any reservation.

The food portions are good and the prices are reasonable. The sesame chicken was very sweet. It tasted almost the same as the general tsos. If you're ordering soup I would not recommend anything other than the won ton!

Chinese food and the feeling here is better than most. I've had nothing but enjoyable experiences here and plan to keep visiting.

Orange chicken was chicken thigh cubes dredged in flour with a beef and garlic powder sauce? The chicken was dry inside, the deep fried outside was soft and mushy and separated from the meat; I have to assume it was microwaved from earlier. It came with a cup of foul smelling chicken gelatin soup. The only saving grace was the gigantic egg roll, I threw most of the rest in the trash. I knew I was in for a rough ride when I actually walked in, it's obvious they haven't put any money into the restaurant since they've opened, but I'd already ordered online. I won't be going again.

The orange chicken that I ordered tasted like fried chicken with some seasonings. The chicken was also hard and mushy looking on the inside. The lo mein was just soggy noodles with no flavor. It was also over priced. Every other Chinese restaurant in the area for the same order is $4.00 less for better food.I usually don't post about businesses because I don't like to speak negatively about anyone's business, but I over paid for terrible food. I wanted to just let other people know not to waste their time.

Today was our first time here. Excellent service; quick and friendly. We drove up to the East pier to enjoy our meals. All four of our meals were still very hot, even after making a stop at another local shop. We will definitely eat here again.

Great moogoogaipan, and general tso

Not good. The industrial egg rolls were the best things we got. Hot and sour soup was neither. Steamed dumplings tasted weird. The takeout container would have been tastier than the Mongolian beef. General’s chicken should be court marshaled. The white rice was decent, and the food was hot.

We ordered dinner for four today, and were happy to have Little Taipei! General Tso chicken, kung pao beef, and sweet & sour chicken were delicious, but the sesame chicken was outstanding! Throw in the egg rolls and wonton soup, and it was a great meal for about $37!

Very good...

Very disappointed today. Very happy to get some chinese food, but after the whole process, I am left with a bill for $37 on my order for 4 that is barely enough food to feed 4. I ordered 4 large main dishes and they are half filled! I must say that the food was rather good! Poor small portions are all I can say are on my mind about this place.

Haven't ordered from here in years, but we were pleasantly surprised. My boys loved the delicately wrapped cheese wontons...and wanted more. We ordered the Egg rolls, General Tso's chicken, Orange Chicken, Shrimp Lo Mien, Shrimp with Spicy Sauce and Four Seasons Special. Got a lot so we could try a little bit of everything. Can't decide on a favorite for myself, but it was all good. Sauces were tasty and flavorful, but not overly salty. The birthday boy loved the General Tso's and Orange chicken. Give it a try if you haven't had it in a while...we are glad we did!

My favorite Chinese (Taiwanese) restaurant. Excellent flavor, Dolly is a great cook.

Best sesame chicken.

The rice was equivalent to buying a bag of rice from circle k with ebt card on the first of the month. The chicken was as dry as the elbows on Jamal on 5th ash 2/5 stars.
