Superb coconut mojito and coconut shrimp! I am a chef and extremely critical...the coconut shrimp are simply outf cking standing! A must!!!! Greatest coconut mojito also!

We were waiting by the sign outside for the waitress to seat us. She passed us several times. There was a rope blocking the entrance that I was tempted to step over just to sit down since my dad was tired of standing. There was tables available outside on The deck that I had my eye on so we could watch the water and the boats. A lady customer who was leaving approached us at the entrance and picked up the rope and told us to find a table. She walked away to her car looking pretty irritated. The waitress saw what she did and gave us an attitude over what the lady had done. Flipping her hands in the air she told us she had no room on the deck so we will have to go inside. She said there only three of us waitresses here and to not get mad if we're not served well. I was totally blew back and wanted to leave on how she talked to us. My husband & dad said lets just grab a drink and go. After we got our drink we were never talked to again the whole time we were there by anyone. The table next to me was serviced well but we were never asked anything. The menu looked tempting but half of the items were not available. I don't know who this blond, short ponytailed lady was but she needs to go. Her interaction with us and the bartender was horrible. She gave a bad vibe and had no patience at all. I will never go back. Management needs to adjust their priorities. Such a beautiful place and atmosphere but the service sucked and the menu was not impressive.

The only thing going for this restaurant is the view. We ordered two Coronas, they were out of limes and bartender made comment that they're out of everything. This should have been our first red flag. We then ordered our food. I ordered mixed fried seafood basket that was supposed to have coconut shrimp, perch and clams. I ordered without fries and coleslaw instead. I was excited about clams being that I had them multiple times last year in Florida while there for a three month travel assignment. My bf ordered the turkey rueben. Our food came and I had mostly a basket of fries, perch with skin on and rubbery and shrimp that was mushy. I had no clams!! I have had whole fish fried with skin on and it is crisp! I reminded them that I ordered coleslaw and was it was brought out promptly. I could not eat the food, it was not good and undercooked plus no clams. When we told the bar tender the skin was on food the attitude was not caring at all. BF said rueben was not good and cheap lunch meat. The manager gave us 10% discount for my basket even though I only ate one shrimp and tried the perch nothing else was eaten out of it. She also told us they are out of clams to which I reminded her that we should've been told that up front. Poor quality food and customer service. I am not sure how it gets a 4.0 review. I would recommend people to go to the Shoreline br and grille which we ate at the night before and had great fish and chips. Spend a little more money and get some better quality food. Rum runners Erie, PA is very low quality and not worth a dime.

Was recommended this place while visiting Erie. We sat at the outdoor bar for over 15 minutes before being greeted by someone. A member of our party had to go inside and ask for menus. We ordered coconut shrimp that were just okay. They charge for sauces even though you would assume you get one complimentary with your shrimp. No music, lackluster view.

I stopped by to grab lunch and the staff is amazing! Everyone was lovely and the manager Jon was beyond helpful. He even made my lunch. A steak salad. YUM!! Stacked w greens, tomato, onion, egg and fresh French fries and home made ranch dressing. It doesn't get much better than this! Thank you staff for a great pit stop memorizable.

Never again! No limes for corona, no clams for basket that I paid for clams to come with!! Out of everything as the waitress stated but did not share this prior to ordering specifically for clams. Perch had rubbery skin left on and coconut shrimp was mushy. We did not eat it but sent it back and was not comped for the basket. BF said the turkey rueben was not good either. Poor quality with a view. Save money and go elsewhere.

Our dinner was terrible. I ordered the perch, fries and slaw. The fish and fries were cold. My mom ordered the portobello sandwich and fries and hers was cold too. We wished we would have stayed home and made grilled cheese sandwiches. They would have been hot and yummy!!!! Don't bother going there!!!
