Had a recommended (from a vague description of what I had in mind) drink that turned out to be really close to what I wanted and some really good fries. Went in a second time that day.It was the eclipse and so they were super busy but everything was nice and orderly and everyone was having a nice time. The staff were very busy but doing a great job of keeping it together.

We had an awesome lunch and happy hour here. We sat at the bar service was friendly and lunch came out quick. Ordered a pretzel and it was huge well worth the price and it was the best my husband said he has ever tasted. We came when it was cold but id love to see this place in the warm weather. Would recommend and return!

Sorry I hate giving poor reviews however, I have to agree with Marie H review. The walleye was probably the worst cooked fish I have ever had. In The photo I posted it looked great to start with but tasted horrible undercooked and I never had a fish sandwich with bones and skin. Pulled pork and ham sandwich was also not that good. Very dry looked like it had been cooked for two days. The appetizer and drink were decent. I should’ve stopped at that point. The place is closing down at the end of October for the season. Hopefully they can take the winner to redecorate inside and get a new cook. Good luck next year I think you need it.

I am not sure what fish is supposed to be undercooked. I am positive it’s never perch and walleye!! This place needs a cook replacement!! My pretzel? was the only thing that came out fresh hot and delicious. A pretzel I have had in the past. We ate our fries ? cause we was starving from our long day/ drive. I am giving a review because $72 on the Great Lake of Erie sounds reasonable. Except!!! Our food was terrible like so bad we didn’t complain about it. We asked for a box and we still have a tip. Just I feel like it’s a huge disappointment! Look at the photos.

Came up from Pittsburgh for the day to visit my niece. We came here for dinner after being at the beach all day. Was pleasantly surprised when we got there. Beautiful scenery. Place was not busy so they said we could sit anywhere. Took an outdoor table with full view of the lake. Sailboats passing by until sunset were awesome. We had the Calamari appetizer with Remoulade sauce. Light and crispy. Delicious. The Asiago Crab dip was okay. I had the steak salad and she had the fried Perch sandwich. Salad was fresh and nice portion. Her sandwich had a huge piece of battered fish on a nice soft bun with seasoned French fries. Our server was very nice and service was really quick for a Saturday. We will be back!

Limited menu. Menu mentions some items have Cajun spice. Cajun not listed with other items. Ask about Cajun spice use, you may get it when you are not expecting it. Some menu items are served as sandwiches but are not listed as sandwiches on the

Yesterday my boyfriend and I came here to eat dinner. it was terrible from the beginning. we waited in line for 15 minutes without being acknowledged, before someone that was also in line went to a server and asked how long it’s going to take to get sat, the server said 20 minutes, after we already stood in line for 15. we waited another 10 minutes to get sat. we get to our table and ordered the Mozzarella moons, and those were good and only took 12 minutes to come out. we ordered the Steakhouse burger and the BBQ Bay burger, and both burger buns were full of grease, and were 0/10. the bacon on the bay burger was so rubbery, meaning in was in a warmer for too long. the burgers took 10 minutes after the mozzarella sticks came out. the server didn’t check on us to ask how anything tasted and she just brought the check out and then i had to tell her after sitting for 20 minutes with our burgers that i’m not paying for mine. i took 1 bite and that was it. we then asked the other server, where the manger was and she said “to be honest, i have absolutely no idea”. and that’s when we knew, this was a terrible place to come to. do not come here if you want burgers.

The Cove provides good food and great service despite being short staffed.I was in town for the night and struggled to find a place for dinner that would provide a fun, welcoming atmosphere and good food. One of the restaurants I had stopped at before The Cove had a 60-90 minute wait. I was not hopeful when I arrived at The Cove and there was a line to be seated. Fortunately, there was no wait for the bar. The music and decor is fun. From inside or outside, the bay view is beautiful! There were only 3 staff running the whole front-of-house that night. Lauren and April did an excellent job waiting all the tables while Hope ran the bar and helped at the hostess podium. Despite the challenges, service was terrific and the food was delicious. Thank you for your hard work and dedication!

Quality and portions were terrible for the price. I don't think the crab dip was real crab and was $12.99 for 2 tablespoons and a tortilla. My sisters walleye sandwich was full of pin bones. They were short staffed. My burger was dry. I wouldn't go back.

Unfortunately due to their current staffing level, the service was a bit slow but I do forgive that. They were fairly busy. The food wasn’t all that great but it’s decent.

Horrible service!! Bar "staff" extra rude, slow and dressed unprofessional. Has gone WAY down hill. Dirty floors and restrooms.

Took over hour to be seated with party sat at board loads of empty tables inside and out. Bartender too busy talking to friends to get attention. One waitress working another hanging around inside not doing anything. Once seated took forever to get drink and then to order food. Very limited menu. Food at cheddars sadly better...do go if have things to do nearly 3 hour dinning experience. Would not recommend
