Went here for the first time today- let me just say this place is a hidden gem! Had the smoked wings (on special), brisket, baked beans, chili, waffle fries and birria tacos (on special)- every single item was excellent. The owner was very friendly and nice. Atmosphere was cozy and the inside was very clean. Will definitely be back!

All I can say is this place better not go away. Such great food & service! Always a treat to go here for some local BBQ. Visiting Lake Winola on weekends always makes it more enjoyable knowing i’ll be stopping into this establishment.Their brisket, burnt ends, mac n cheese as well as their cornbread is great stuff!I had their “Awesome Burger” last night and MAN! I can’t wait to get it again.Love this place!!!

Great pulled pork. Stopped in after boating at Lake Winola. Thoroughly enjoyed the pulled pork tacos. It was all the goodness of a pulled pork sandwich, taco and empanada all rolled into one item. Fantastic.

I have been dying to try this place out! My son volunteered to be my chauffeur & it was so good! They were out of brisket and potato salad, but I'm pretty sure the customer ahead of me bought it all out. I got the chicken, pulled pork, coleslaw, and cornbread. Everything was excellent! The portion size was huge. Glad I asked for it in a to go container because I only ate 1/4 of it & I was stuffed!! My son didn't order because he's not a big bbq eater so the owner brought out a sample of their signature New Brunswick stew. The boy doesn't eat soup either so I had to eat that too!! Lol - I'm not sorry! We got to listen to some R&B that was playing softly in the background. Soothing and not loud enough that you couldn't have a normal conversation. The dining area was clean and tidy. Loved it!

Just ordered an "Awesome Burger" and added grilled onions and a fried egg to it and waffle fries. Let me tell you, it truly was awesome. Burger was cooked perfect, nice and juicy, the Mac and cheese was creamy, bacon nice and crispy and the grilled onions and runny egg to top it off. Great job Robert, looking forward to the brisket next.
My husband and I tried the brisket, ribs and chicken wings and we loved everything we ordered! I really enjoyed the bacon in the potato salad! We can't wait to go back and try some of the other offerings. The tacos sound delicious! This is a great addition to the lake!

This new location on Lake Winola served up the best bbq this diner has ever had! Let's start with my favorite dish, which I did not expect...the stew. Dear, Baby Jesus. Boasting rich and comforting flavors, this concoction was an amalgam of deliciously smoked meat and veggies swimming in a pool of a savory tomato and herb broth. The next favorite, and honestly the best I've ever had - the ribs. Fall-off-the-bone, moist, saucy and full, these delightful slices of heaven sung of flavor. Before I go on sounding like I ate a meal for a village, we were treated to a lovely sampling. The meatloaf, paired with the potato salad, would be the hit of any party. Finally, and I don't know how the chef did this, but the smoked tuna was so rich and different, it reminded me of eating a fresh and expensive crab cake.Note to all who are looking for some epic bbq: check the updates for availability. It's no shock, but this locale sells out of items quickly in its TH-S run. An experience I will never forget. Thanks to the owner/chef for a fantastic dining delight!
