“My daughter has Celiac disease and can't eat gluten. Jay's has a FANTASTIC menu for those with this problem! His gf pretzel rolls are to die for and the regular pretzel rolls are delicious too! They cook all of the gf food in a separate fryer. We love the gf chicken fingers too. Since all of the gf food has to go through a single cook, it's best to order that before hand because it might take a few extra minutes during busy times. Jay also gives back to the community with donations towards heating oil for those in need during Christmas times. It's an order up window only but there is an outside covered area where you can eat. They also have gf ice cream sandwiches and cakes. It's so nice to have a place that offers delicious fast food that is safe for all members of the family! Instead what you'll find are a variety of beautifully baked croissants when you first walk in, along with a myriad of staples, with some more rare gems mixed in. It has plenty of seating and a cozy couch, along with free wifi making it a great place to work. The food options are endless. It took me 10 minutes to decide what I wanted because too many things looked amazing! The owner is a wonderfully kind woman, she was patient with me and answered all my questions and gave me some recommendations on the best sellers. The spinach and feta croissant is to die for. It is a must try in my opinion. It was flaky, warm, buttery, with the perfect amount of salt. I'm usually a person that like hot sauce on everything. But this pastry was perfect just as it was. I also got the French beignets, chocolate and raspberry. If you come here, ask for everything to be warmed up, and sit and enjoy the meal you just got. I can't wait to bring my wife back and try that they have in their lunch menu along with the pastries they have.“
“This place is my GO TO vegan place in the area. I LOVE that it has the authentic "NE/Philly" taste and flavors while still being vegan. Often vegan items, when trying to mimic its meat counter part, loses its northeast/Philly vibe. This place nails it every time. So many options- and SO MANY "condiments" (vegan mayo- vegan cheese- etc). I live in CNY but go out of my way to order here during family visits. I also place a big order for my trip back home, as everything heats up in an air fryer beautifully.
