Our first visit to Sherman's.. We got the Spaghetti and Meatballs and the Italian Combo Sub (hot). Both were so good. The bread and salad that came with the spaghetti were also very good and fresh! My kids enjoyed the chocolate cookies from the bakery part. We will definitely be back!

So, bit of a long story here. Sherman's used to be a roadside ice cream/food place on the border of Girard and Springfield. About 10 years ago. My family and I went there at least once a week because the food was so amazing and the team running it were the best. Always friendly, always amazing food. When they closed we were legitimately upset. They had the kind of food that gets brought up at family gatherings out of the blue, like "remember the yellow jacket burger or the Chicago dog? " Anyway, they're back, and it's everything my memory made it out to be all over again but now with amazing baked goods too! I'm so happy. Come and check them out.

Everything was so delicious! The fries are perfectly crisp outside and soft inside. The buns are deliciously toasted and add a special something to both the Yellowjacket and the Shermanator. Definitely coming again!

Coming from an Italian... worst Italian food I've ever eaten. The red sauce tasted like there was taco seasoning in it.

The service was excellent and the food came out quickly. The garlic rolls were delicious and just the right amount of flavor. The meat sauce was a little spicy but just the right amount of flavor. Pasta cooked perfectly. I definitely recommend visiting the restaurant. Please support local businesses.

I had the rigatoni putanesca. The kalamata olives were replaced with green olives. It looked like there were a few jalapeno slices. I'm did not see or taste anchovies. My hubby had spaghetti with sausage. The sausage was tasty the sauce was not. Our friend had the Mediterranean salad. There was no spring mix, all iceberg. They added tomatoes slices, hard boiled eggs and cucumbers. I was raised on Italian food by Italian parents and spent time in Italy. I would not consider this Italian food. I gave it 2 stars because the garlic bread was good

This is a relatively new restaurant that we tried today as it came highly recommended. A member of the family had also recently ordered their pizza and said it was very good. We are VERY picky about Italian food, and are always nervous about ordering anything other than pizza from a place we don't know. Needless to say, we ordered several different items to include two types of pasta (with two different sauces), salad, eggplant parm, stromboli and a few smaller items and loved them all. The servings are huge, prices are pretty average, and service was fast. **Note: the pasta was all cooked perfectly. This is a great place to try if you're in the mood for a basic Italian-American cuisine. The menu is huge and seems to be organized well. I believe you can only order food and pick it up. The restaurant doesn't look like much, but don't judge this book by it's cover! Try it out!
