Authentic, delicious, affordable! Fresh, hand-battered shrimp tempura is a rarity these days. The batter is light, crispy, and savory. The house blend tempura sauce is sharp, savory, and enhances the flavor of the tempura. Most other places just fry up frozen tempura or frozen panko breaded shrimp. It's alright, but it can't compete with the authentically made version.Musashi is the real deal. I've been to many Japanese restaurants that are just Chinese restaurants larping as something else. I'm glad Musashi is so close by. Gone are the days of having to drive two hours or cross state borders to find a good Japanese restaurant with Japanese owners. I'm excited to try everything else on the menu!

Came in around 4pm for dinner with some friends. As soon as you walk in you'll see there seems to be a Japanese mech crammed into a restaurant. It's pretty amusing, but also a bit overpriced for some knick knacks.Our server was friendly and attentive. Food came out at a fast pace too.We got the shrimp tempura for an appetizer along with the spicy tuna stuffed avocado. The shrimp was awesome, crispy and fresh. The spicy tuna probably could use better presentation. The tuna looked like ground beef mush but overall the flavors were nice with the avocado.I got the dipping noodles for my entree. The broth is excellent and it's nice that you get an entire egg when you order it (some ramen places only give you half). The noodles had great texture and the seafood was fresh. I wish they gave you more sliced pork though. Only had like 2 thin slices.For dessert I got the green tea ice cream which was great.

I ordered the tonkotsu ramen, and while the broth was decent,the marinated pork had a sour taste, and the noodles were a bit too hard for my liking. The server seemed inattentive, especially when I asked about the sour pork. Unfortunately, she couldn't provide a clear answer and didn't bother asking the chef.
