Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was "ok-good". The place is date, dark and in need of a facelift. Attracts the "very mature" (and that's coming from someone who is 65).

Food Is great, bar is always packed with good service and well made cocktails. One of the few places left in area that has live entertainment in a regular basis. Definitely worth checking out for a good dinner or just a night out.

My Wife & I went there specifically for the Oysters on the Half shell, they were dirty and not removed from the shell causing us to destroy them to try and eat them, almost worst Oyster experience ever for us. The rest of the meal and drinks were very good. The Babyback ribs was a full rack and took 2 days to finish, lots of meat, tender well done for a restaurant.

Sat at the bar in the Tavern for a few drinks and appetizer. Paid our bill and left. When home, I looked at the bill. I had 2 Makers Mark old fashioned $11.00 each and below each was a line item for ON THE ROCKS $3.00. So I paid $6.00 for ICE! Plus, a FINANCE FEE was added to the bill because I used a credit card (nobody told us that in advance). I feel this is ridiculous to be charged for ON THE ROCKS (aka ICE). Goodbye Buck Hotel!

When I walked into the Buck Hotel, my family and I were pleasantly greeted. We were seated quickly. As we walked, I asked about an area and the hostess offered to see us there. The servers were friendly, the food portions were generous and so delicious. I will definitely return to the Buck Hotel.
