This was my first time to the Franklin Roadhouse. I stopped here because it was on my home from backpacking a portion of the North Country Trail in the Allegheny National Forest. I was looking for a nice restaurant where I could get a steak dinner and relaxing atmosphere. This place did not disappoint.I started with a bowl of New England Clam Chowder. Such an awesome atmosphere with great friendly staff. The food is delicious and would definitely recommend coming here. A great place for family events, or even just a casual night out for dinner.Kid-friendliness: Coloring books & crayons for any kids!

My chicken in my fettuccine Alfredo was really dry and chey and had no seasoning on it I could only eat the noodles the waitress was kind enough to take price of chicken off bill ,I should have gotta my meal for free
