“CHICKEN & WAFFLES $ Seafood!: The absolute BEST! This is a JEWEL of a neighborhood restaurant! I have been coming to Family Chicken & Waffles for months & have eaten many of the dishes at this small family owned restaurant. It has become one of my few goto restaurants here in the Lehigh Valley (the LV).The chicken (wings, legs & thighs) are the BIGGEST chicken pieces that I have ever seen, much less eaten. The taste is superb - crispy skin outside, yet juicy & tender inside. The food is served HOT and FRESH. So you know that it hasn’t been sitting around under heat lamps. And don’t get me started on their fried shrimp! It’s outstanding. Also, The service from all staff is given with a smile. The restaurant itself is very clean with the tables, table mats and sturdy chairs being spotlessly maintained. There are tables available for sit-down dining or waiting so that you can get your food to-go.Oh. I forgot to mention their outstanding waffles created with different flavors no less. There is no other restaurant like this one. It fills a great void in the culinary tapestry that exists in the Lehigh Valley.The restaurant is located in an out of the way plaza in Forks on Sullivan Trail. The food is simply delicious. Finally, whatever you order, you will not be disappointed!“
“First time trying the food here. I got fried salmon sandwich with two sides:macaroni cheese, and greens. I had spicy garlic shrimp. My husband had fried whiting sandwich with two sides: macaroni cheese and mozzarella sticks. We both agreed the food was full of flavor. I recommend any giving this place a try. I will return. This was exactly what I was looking for. This order was a takeout order I called and the food was ready when my husband arrived.“
“My boyfriend & I stopped in for my birthday earlier tonight and had a beautiful meal! The decision was spontaneous so we didn’t know we needed a reservation but thankfully got the only table left! The hush puppies were to die for! We both got the Cuban and it was excellent. The brussel sprouts were unique but incredibly tasty. As a bartender, their craft cocktails were incredibly impressive and delicious! Our waitress was friendly and catered to all of our needs. “definition of a hidden gem, had no idea this place existed. they are everything wingstop advertises themselves as and more!! I got lemon pepper wings and fries, wings were average but the rub was amazing, fries were handcut and really tasty, also I got a half lemonade half kool-aid drink (I forgot what it's called but it's the perfect addition). very awesome place“
“I eat at this place often never actually been there in person only through doordash I think I'm going to make it a point to next time that I am hungry for Winston's I'm going to go there in person I don't know if they have dine-in but I want to see the people that make this food and meet them and tell them personally how much I love them and they're cooking abilities the food there is absolutely not a midget less than fantastic the cakes are phenomenal my absolute favorite is the curry goat rice and peas plantains and stewed cabbage I wish they had other options as signs besides mac and cheese and rice and peas but I will tell you one thing the food there is spectacular“
