This place has horrible food. And horrible service. I would recommend it to no one.

Saturday, April 20th, I ordered a cup of soup and a turkey club. My club was servedto me and after 1 bite, I noticed there was no turkey. Our server returned my club to the cook and when it came back, 1 piece of turkey was stuffed in all 4 sections. The presentation of City's club was terrible. It look like it was retrieved from the dumpster. Our server informed us that the cook was new. That doesn't excuse the appearance of the food looking like garbage.Management should hire better cooks who not only can cook but present their dishes to customers showing their skills.I did speak to the cashier and showed her how my club looked. She apologized to me for the inconvenience however, my bill wasn't modified.Also, young people need to keep their eye on their respective customers instead of chatting at the counter. I had to get up and ask for my check. Both servers went back to service after that.I have a picture of the 2 remaining pieces I took home. Unfortunately, I cannot attach that picture to this review.As I side note, my sister's turkey wrap had aloil instead of plain mayo. She said she was hungry so she dealt with it.We frequent City View and never encountered a situation like this.VERY DISAPPOINTING ?!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at New City View diner for breakfast with my husband, and we were thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was clean and inviting, providing a lovely backdrop for our meal. The food itself was excellent; we both enjoyed every bite. Additionally, the coffee was exceptional, adding to the overall delightful experience. We'll definitely be returning for another meal soon!

This Diner is smack dab in the middle of Pa. Dutch country, but they do not respect the culture. We ordered scrapple with apple butter, but they had no apple butter! So we will not be back, honor snd research the demographics.

The waitress and host did their job well.The food was horrible. I had the meatloaf and my husband had the spaghetti. Both were very bland, No taste whatsoever. The meatloaf taste like a week old leftover, and so did the meatballs. The only good thing that was good, was the salad bar because how can you mess that up?Never again.This was the second chance.

City View diner is one of the few restaurants that is consistently good. The food is always good , we've never had a order that wasn't prepared as ordered or expected. The time from ordering to receiving the order is very quick ... always only a few minutes. The waitresses are very good , always checking to see if you need anything else and that the order is satisfactory. We've always had extremely polite and friendly waitresses who are genuinely interested in the customer satisfaction and care about giving good service. The atmosphere is typical diner , but it's ALWAYS extremely clean and well maintained. The City View appears to be a favorite place to many people ... we see many of the same people there week after week. I'm very happy with my experience here and I highly recommend it to others .

It's not like it used to be. Coffee was bitter, and the food was bland. Hardly any of the breakfast platters came with home fries. You always used to have a choice between sausage and home fries. I'm really surprised they were busy, I take it, people just don't care about the quality of food anymore. We will not be going back there anymore.

I ordered grilled cheese sandwich that was okay my fiance ordered tuna fish on rye with mayonnaise but they came out with tuna fish salad sandwich with bacon strictly said no bacon I promise as long as I'm alive I will never go there again if there's such thing as real incarnation I still will never go
