“My family and I went there for my sister's birthday dinner. She had salmon that was barely cooked and soggy. I ordered the overpriced crab legs, they were absolutely horrible! They were cooked in boiled water with NO SEASONING. I could of steamed and seasoned them better! On the other hand the sweet potato fries were good! Never again!“

“In the 'Immergut' bakery, run by the friendly Amish people, I experienced a culinary revelation that deeply touched me as a native Swabian. The soft pretzels that I was able to taste here were not only a feast for the palate, but also a homage to the traditional art of pretzel baking. As someone who grew up with the original Swabian pretzels, I was skeptical at first, but these pretzels exceeded all my expectations! Baked to perfection, with a deliciously soft texture and that unmistakable taste of craftsmanship and attention to detail. The atmosphere in the bakery was as inviting as the pretzels were delicious, and the friendly smiles of the staff made my visit an unforgettable experience. “While I like most of Stoltzfus’s items, I’ve been disappointed in their chicken salad. It used to be a staple in our home but seems like they’ve changed the recipe. It’s now so runny with mayo (or whatever they use) that it plops right off our sandwiches. They’ve also seem to cut back on the celery which added a nice contrasting crunch. Please bring back the old recipe.“

“Go to Dyers all the time. Today we ordered 2 chicken cheese steaks a 2 cheese steaks and got all cheese steaks. We called and they didn't make it right. Poor business ethics.“

“Today lunched at QFR...wow what a lovely time. The Kennett Mushroom Soup with Spinach was over the top wonderful. Meal was ample and served with a smile. Love the idea of a soup Flight!! Enjoyed the atmosphere and kindness of the staff.“

“My husband has worked here for about 12 years now and they absolutely wouldn’t get 5 stars without him. He pretty much runs the place and the credit is given to his superiors as he humbly continues to give the central Susquehanna valley a good experience.“

“First time there!! A clerk at Country Gift and Thrift highly recommended it. The omelets were delicious, but our sweet waitress made our day!! I wish I could remember her name but she had beautiful blue eyes. What a value to your restaurant to have such a nice and competent waitress on staff. We will be back!“
