I am from out of town and went to eat there after reading nice reviews coming from Total Wine. The atmosphere was beautiful and the food was great until I noticed hairs entangled in my delicious crab cake. I know things sometimes happen but the attention I received about it was Poor. The waitress was very apologetic and said the manager was going to come out to speak to me. Well the manager came out and spoke to other people who had not received their food yet after looking right at me. I go inside to pay the tab and she gave a by the way apology. When something like that happens it should be settled immediately. No I will not return for food although what I ate was delicious. The customer service of the manager sucked! She didn’t even give her name.

Very unexpected deliciousness!! Popped in for dinner. Ordered Red Snapper to have something other than burgers and stuff. I’ve never had Red Snapper but I love fish so I tried it. So happy I did! The Red Snapper was cooked perfectly and had GREAT flavor in a lemon sauce! The potatoes and broccoli were also delicious!Red Snapper in a lemon sauce would be perfect on a hot summer day as it was a refreshing zesty kinda meal! I hope they make it a regular special!Cheers to the chef! You nailed it!!

Being in business since 2009 doesn't guarantee professionalism or consistency. The lack of a welcoming atmosphere in this establishment is disappointing.However, it's concerning that your bartender served a white couple next to us without requesting any ID, even though they arrived after us. Consistency in checking IDs is essential for all customers. As a business owner, it's crucial to communicate effectively and professionallyI had a terrible experience, and you can’t take that away from me and clearly shows how this business is by your response.

Menu changed. New cook I guess but imho they still need a cook. Prices went up portion sizes went down. Didn’t know it was possible to screw up a club sandwich. If you only want drinks and appetizers it’s great. Have a meal elsewhere .

This place is racist. If you’re black don’t come.….I'd like to share more of my experience at Duffers since I'm still unsettled. We visited around 9pm on 3/23/24 to unwind. Upon entering, it was evident we were the only African Americans present, which made me uncomfortable, but I won't delve into race, as being from Chester, we're accustomed to stares. We headed to the pool tables, but my husband realized he'd left his ID at home. Since we're rarely carded, we didn't think much of it. However, the bartender, who clearly saw we were older, ignored my husband and his brother. Meanwhile, she warmly served a white couple. When my husband tried to get her attention, she rudely gestured for him to wait. He offered a photo or suggested she Google him as he's a Grammy award-winning producer, but she refused service. Despite his brother having ID, she declined to serve my husband. Later, she served another couple without carding them. This experience suggests either racism or biased employees. Duffers is not welcoming to people of color, and it shows.

We love coming to Duffers Mill. Always excellent food and friendly service. We had the Buffalo chicken pizza and it was the best we’ve ever had. The Parm crusted Chicken was crispy and flavorful. The Chicken Italiano sandwich was golden crisp and delicious. The icing on the cake was the peanut butter chocolate mousse dessert. Rich and sinfully delicious without being too sweet. Never had a bad meal here. We have brought many friends over the past year and they all have become fans!

Ran out of salad, that's a first for me. My replacement burger was raw, not good.
Stopped in as an out of towner. Very big, plenty of parking, clean, and great music playing. I got the "kraken" burger. It was recommended by the bartender, who is very attentive and good at his job. While I was hesitant as it was a little pricey, the burger was cooked a perfect medium and was nothing short of juicy and flavorful.. top 10 burgers I've ever had. So sad this place is over 2 hrs from where I live. Next time I'm in the area I'll be sure to be back and give some other food a try since this place completely delivered.

Love this place! Anthony is the best manager for Duffer's Mill, and you couldn't find a more friendly guy. The hostesses are awesome, especially Emalee and Grace. The wait staff is attentive and caring, and the food is always amazing.
