The coffee is so good and tastes a lot better supporting local. Their variety of pastries and breakfast items are incredible as well. I ordered a custom cake over the weekend for a birthday, and it tasted like a wedding cake. It was a great price and beautiful! Love this place!

Lose the attitude male barista. Smug, condescending and did not acknowledge me for a whole 3 minutes when I walked in and stood in front of him (his back was turned as he chatted away with his co-worker. I was meeting a friend so unfortunately did not have an option to leave. The coffee was bitter and grossly overpriced. The place lacks in personality and the bad energy permeates. Please hire friendly staff with smile on their faces.

Collective is an absolute gem. I'm certain this will become a fav local spot for many to duck into, as it has become for me. The coffee is excellent. There are several other coffee shops nearby that I used to frequent, and now I find myself only wanting coffee from Collective, it's that good. And their pastries are next level. Beautiful, absolutely delicious pastries, quiches, biscuits, home-made pop tarts (!), and tons of gluten-free options that do NOT taste gluten-free. Not sure how their baker does it! The atmosphere is minimalistic, but inviting. It's got a cozy vibe. Staff is suuuuper friendly and accommodating. You can order online and pick up, which is a great feature for a small cafe to have. This place is 5 stars all around.
It's about time we get some great coffee out here. Collective Coffee has welcoming staff generously sharing tastings and samples of the baked goods and coffees. Collective is where I meet friends for a nice chat and a great start to the day when I'm on the run. The kids like stopping for after-school treats. Our family collectively agrees that if you like Morgantown Coffee House, you'll also enjoy Collective Coffee - same owners and same knockout coffees.
