“I've not visited this establishment growing up mainly because a family member owned a local bar up this way. (They sold their bar) we stopped here. My husband loved it. I had a burger and fries. The burger didn't sit well with me. The beer was great. Waitress was fantastic. Atmosphere was nice.“

The food was great, and the service was even better. Semone is a fantastic bartender full of information about what to see and do in the area. Bria, the manager, chimed in, too. We are so happy we stopped in and have definitely found our local area restaurant/bar! One less thing!“

“Last time I was here The Brookside was under different ownership and that review probably would have been 2 stars. Since the new ownership has taken over they have changed some decor and brightened the place up a bit and have started doing some differently themed food days like a wing night and a southern soul food style Sundays event.The service here has been good the few times I’ve been in. I’m always greeted immediately and helped to a beverage and given a menu. I haven’t experienced any long waits to get another drink and everyone has been very friendly.This review specifically is on their wings. We were in on a wing night and got the garlic ranch wings and the Kings hot honey wings. This wing special night has a list of sauces that changes weekly. You’ll still have your staples every week but there are quite a few that rotate in and out so it doesn’t get stale. My gf loves the garlic ranch and I’m consistently trying new flavors. I also had the blackberry bbq which were very tasty, and the plain Buffalo (The OG baby) also has good flavor.These wings are nice and crispy without sacrificing the juiciness of the meat itself. They are not tiny little wings but they are also not these mammoth ones you see at some places where it’s impossible to get a proper cook on them and still have good texture.I’ll be back in soon to try out that Southern food menu, but the wings absolutely Didn’t Suck!“

“A must visit local "neighborhood" bar. They have food, a pool table, and electonic darts. It's very clean. The whole place is very neatly organized. It's a place where it won't take long for... everyone to know your name!“

“Golf course was great. Had a great time. Staff and customers were extremely pleasant and easy to deal with. They even rent you golf clubs and golf balls for only $1. Not to mention golf was only $9 per person!!! Had a great experience at Ellendale. I will return!“

“This place is the best, tasty food with some really good and probably homemade hamburgers and mashed potato’s. They also have to options going to either the bar or the normal area Whitch is really cool. The staff are also so nice and we’re accommodating for my allergies. Just know it’s super expensive and a family of 4 would have to pay about 80$, but it’s worth it!!!Dietary restrictions: I have allergies and the staff were really nice and made sure my food was ok“

“Best example good food off the beaten path. It's been around a while for a reason. Wings are better than most and are some of the best in the region. Even the simple menu items have flair.Eat here if you can. “Usually on theme parks, food aren’t the best, nobody is expected any Michelin stars restaurant but this place isn’t half bad at all. The food is above average and the prices is very reasonable. This is the place to try if you ever near kalahari water park. The kids will love it and the adult definitely won’t be disappointed“
