The food was amazing! I got the pigpen sandwich with a side of Mac n cheese, with the house bbq sauce, which was super juicy and flavorful. I’ll have to try the vinegary bbq next time! The place is super clean and well organized, and I was really happy with the staff. Everyone who passed by asked what we thought of it, which was really nice to see. I will definitely be coming back!

Went during the soft opening during crummy weather. People behind the counter, presumably the owners, were extremely friendly. Brisket was wet and delicious. Would have liked either sauce on the table or a little more in the sandwich by default, but I have no doubt if I had asked for more they'd have provided it.

Got a Renegade sandwich (Brisket, Bacon, and Jalapeños). Amazing sandwich! Definitely recommended.
I've heard about shakedown since they were at the church parking lot at Manada Hill. Nothing but good! Today I finally tried it and I've been kicking myself since the first bite. Best Q in the midstate without a doubt. I lived in TX for a while so I've had some brisket, this was absolutely perfect!! Pork, spot on, the sausage was outstanding! Sides, beans and slaw, and sauces, perfect!! If you like Q and haven't been here, do yourself a favor and try it...I'm sure you'll love it!!

Brisket was just ok, definitely lacked on the seasoning. Add sauce and sure maybe, but would not get it again. Turkey and sausage were decently good, could taste the smoke and seasoning. Prices are a little steep for a platter setup, but wanted to try everything.
