The bakery here is ridiculous. I canceled my order for a custom image cake. It was a picture my son drew. Day after I ordered, I get a call saying it's copyrighted so they won't make it and I told them that he drew it and got told okay. Then second day, I get another call saying that they won't make it because it was copyrighted and they even told me they found it on youtube from some guy and that's who owned the photo. Which is a lie because my son drew it! I even looked the name they gave me up and there was nothing that even remotely could have been confused for my sons picture. Wasted two days of my time on a cake that they wouldn't really make anyways. I get they have copyright rules but they should learn what copyright is first of all and not lie about it when they assumed that my image was copyrighted. Thank God there's better bakeries out there!

Yesterday was my son's birthday party at Seabase and we had ordered cupcakes from this Giant Eagle Bakery. We explained on two different occasions what we wanted, rainbow icing with rainbow sprinkles. The 1st picture is what the icing should have looked like, the 2nd picture is what we got. I told my husband he shouldn't have paid for them, but it was too close to the party and we needed them. We ordered this same exact thing from the Johnstown Giant Eagle Bakery for his class and they turned out perfect. I don't understand what the problem was.

They have some really fresh baked items including cookies and cakes. Definitely one of the best places around to get some sweets for an affordable price!

I am a vegetarian and made the huge mistake of buying cheese from your dirty deli. There were ham chunks all through the cheese. What kind of clowns do you employ? Why aren't they using separate slicers or cleaning them?

Lots of baked goods to choose from. Can order decorated cakes. Soft rolls and buns, cookies and pies.

Stop enforcing a mask mandate that is beyond pointless at this point. Did not know that they were the mask police. Worst customer service.

Epic fail w lack of cashiers. people where standing in the shopping isles waiting to get cked out. only one cashier , sll other scan and go. why bother announcing keep.your distance when the only place people are piled up is at the ck out line. get your registers open.

Very high prices. Walmart prices are substantially less. No reason to ever shop at any of their stores. Walmart will eat them alive. Buy meat products at Sam's Club.

Poor service and rude employees. Southwestern PA offers much better places to shop for groceries without the employee harassment.

Management allows their workers to be abused and bullied by customers and then they scoff and walk off when you try to go to them for assistance.

Is anyone besides me THOROUGHLY DISGUSTED WITH ALL THE CHANGES GIANT EAGLE HAS MADE THAT HURT CUSTOMERS AND ONLY BENEFIT GIANT EAGLE? FIRST, THERE ARE THE CHANGES GIANT EAGLE HAS MADE TO THEIR PERKS PROGRAM. NO. 1 - Giant Eagle now zeros out your points, when you redeem your Perks. So, for example, if your perks are at 24%, and you use your 20%, you will loose the other 4%. NO. 2 - If you don't earn 50 points in a month, Giant Eagle will zero out any partial perks towards the next reward. NO. 3 - You now only have 60 days to redeem your points, rather than the 90 days you used to have. No. 4 - When you use your point redemption, you do not get any points on that purchase. THE SECOND CHANGE IS THAT GIANT EAGLE NO LONGER DOUBLES COUPONS. They say it is because not too many people are using coupons, but WE ALL KNOW IT IS BECAUSE THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS, ONLY THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR!!!! FINALLY, GIANT EAGLES HAS STOPPED CARRYING MANY OF THE POPULAR NAME BRANDS, AND INSTEAD, THEY ARE ONLY CARRYING THE GIANT EAGLE BRAND, WHICH IS NO WHERE NEAR AS GOOD! I think we all need to let Giant Eagle know that, if they want to keep their loyal customers, they need to treat us right! We have so many options nowadays that we don't have to put up with their mistreatment! We have Shop n' Save, Whole Foods, Fresh Market, Trader Joe's, so we do not have to put up with this!!!!
