We had dinner there last night with our family. Our family style dinner included chicken and peppers, chicken parmesan, manicotti, soup, and salad. Everything was excellent and generous portions. The waitress was very attentive. We are looking forward to our next visit to LaVitas, a small, welcoming, family style restaurant where it takes you back to dinner at Grandma's. It's a hidden gem in the heart of Greensburg.

This place is strange. Firstly, the waitress made us feel like outsiders, and acted like we shouldn’t have been there. Second, there are no menus. Also, the food is okay, but it wasn’t anything special. I’d rather go to Olive Garden.

Found this place online searching for a new restaurant to try. Went in and was abruptly met with a woman informing us there’s no menu, she makes it herself and there’s only one thing available. We apologized for misunderstanding the restaurant and left. I’d definitely call before going to make sure there’s actually a menu being served.

I just called to try and make a reservation at 4:45pm. The owner tells me she can't accommodate us because she has 11 people coming in at 6:30pm unless we ordeeme off the phone now. I understand you make your food from scratch but so does every other Italian restaurant lady. Are you going to cook my food now and set it on a warmer? I feel like im in Bizarro world right now.

We chose LaVita's half pan mixed green salad as a side addition for our Christmas office luncheon, and it was phenomenal. It was fresh, flavored with the house dressing, and loaded with yellow peppers, beets, olives, cukes and tomatoes. It came with fresh bread and butter which was a nice surprise. We will be using LaVita's again.

A friend and I were looking for food before going to an event in town and we came across this restaurant. Walked in and the lady was so incredibly rude. She didn’t even look up from her phone when she talked to us.
This place is phenomenal. I love homemade Italian food so this was exactly for me. It’s like your grandma is cooking for you. Be realistic, don’t expect a huge menu on a Monday, we order the specials and tiramisu-everything was to die for. We will return. Loved everything.

I had the most amazing Italian dinner ever at La Vita’s this week. My friend, who made the dinner arrangements for our eight-person group, has told me for a couple of years how great the experiences and food are at La Vita’s, and finally we were all able to go.
