Best happy hour. Slaw and fries on the side please. Never on the sandwich. Add egg to the new Yorker and loose the mustard.

While the food was delicious, I still am giving two stars due to the HORRIBLE service we received. I’m not sure if the sewage is backed up, but the entire restaurant smelled awful. The table behind us was complaining about it too. We had a party of 9 and were celebrating a family member’s birthday. My father in law asked if we could sit in the dining room instead of the bar area because we had kids with us, and the man up front by the greeter station said “Why? kids sit in the bar area all the time.” The sarcastic reply wasn’t necessary, if it wasn’t possible to sit in the dining area he could have just said that. We were sat and it took 15 minutes for our server to come to our table. Eventually I went up to the hostess stand to ask where our server was and finally someone came over. Our waitress was clearly irritated by us from the very beginning. She made several comments about how she’s only one person and has a lot to do and she’ll get to our drinks when she gets to it. And on top of all of this, as we were taking the kids to the bathroom, one of the male workers saw us walk by and made a comment about how he hates when kids come in because they make huge messes. We spent a lot of money there last night to be treated like an inconvenience by 3 separate workers. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Not one to write reviews at all. Used to frequent here often until a short time ago it started smelling foul. Stopped in yesterday evening with a friend for a drink and the overwhelming smell of sewage was enough to make someone sick let alone have your employees smelling that their entire shift. Absolutely disgusting. Your staff is wonderful.. management on the other hand should have probably fixed this issue long ago..

A friend and I stopped to have a few drinks last night . The OVERWHELMING smell of sewage was unreal. We left after 20 minutes of being there and both had terrible headaches. I hope someone is looking into fixing this as I can’t imagine that’s a safe atmosphere for employees or customers. We frequent often and noticed a slight smell a month ago which clearly was never fixed . Otherwise we always have great service and the staff is wonderful!

Very pleasant experience. Will definitely go back. My husband is a double amputee, and they helped me by holding the doors. Very friendly staff.

This is my second experience at Primanti Brothers. Having learned from my first experience I asked questions regarding my food choice prior to placing my order. The menu is not always detailed/clear enough. I've heard feedback from others that they don't always get what they thought they were getting; in the way of ingredients or preparation. I ordered the Tall Boy PB Ruben with fries on the side instead of on the Sandwich. I liked the sandwich but it was average. Not a Wow. The bread could have been toasted more (disappointed they don't grill the bread) and the meat (pastrami and corn beef) was cold and watery. I would have expected it heated or grilled based on the menu description. Thank goodness our waitress was very attentive and friendly. She made our dinning experience enjoyable. The restaurant has a typical sports bar atmosphere. I'd probably won't return unless friends want to dine there. It's not a restaurant I'd go out if my way to go to.

The food was great as usual. The beer was expensive. $9. I'll go back but maybe not for beer.

Took me almost 10 minutes to get seated when no one was in front of me. The floor in the dining area was so greasy that I almost slipped and fell. Try changing your mop bucket water more than once a week and don't use the same water to mop the dining area that you used in the kitchen. The food was mediocre at best.

I didn't know primanti brothers owns 18th Street pizza? We ordered an 8 cut pizza with pepperoni for the game yesterday. plus mozz sticks and zucchini strips! The pizza was cold as hell! Tasted like I bought it from Sunoco! The mozz sticks were cold and the zucchini strips were so thinly sliced( you could see through them when I removed the batter)and so undercooked! we got sick on them! I have always disliked primanti food! The wait staff is always bitchy, the bartenders are judgemental and click ish and the tables and floors are always dirty! WE WILL NEVER ORDER FROM 18TH STREET PIZZA Again!

About 10 years ago I used to stop at the Primantis on route 51 in the pleasant hills area. Food and service was good and the Pizza was very good. Recently ordered a takeout pizza at the Greensburg Primanti and found the service to be terrible. I waited for someone to acknowledge me then ask the barmaid for assistance and was talked to like I was a bum looking for a handout. When the waitress finally bought out the Pizza she addressed me as Honey. Very unprofessional. The pizza was eatable but I will not order another. If I am paying almost 20 bucks for dough and sauce I expect it to delight my taste buds.

Oddest experiance I ever had this evening. Hostess said there was a wait to sit at the bar. There were empty seats and about 8 people sat down before me and walked straight in from the outside so we just went and sat down. Bar tender was good. Wings were awful. Other food was good. There was the most awful smell I ever smelled coming from a drain behind the bar. Somewhere between puke and raw sewage. The place is not clean. Went there to watch the football game. The whole bar was watching the game. Two regulars wanted the channel changed and we went from the whole bar being able to see the game to less than half. This place is poorly managed. Kind of ashame. Spent a good amount of money and dont know if I will be back. They need to clean the bar its gross.
