I've been going to Valozzi's for years, so I know the drill with pricing. But $50+ for a crab cake w a few asparagus spears is high in Chicago, let alone Greensburg. There weren't many entre options under $40. The $14 calamari appetized was way too salty (I have a very high tolerance for salt, so...)- we mentioned this but didn't get much empathy/feedback. The wine by the glass options were disappointing- not expending them to crack a new bottle of Caymus for 2 glasses, but washing down that $55 crab cake with wine from a $15 retail bottle is disappointing. The best value here has always been the pizza- but we were looking for a nice dinner out to sit down and explore some interesting main courses. The place was fairly empty, but we were seated at a small table against the wall (route 30 was immediately behind the wall outside that table leaned against) despite having reservations. Our waiter was nice, and I'm sure we should have complained more/asked to move/asked for the inedible calamari to be taken off our bill. But I didn't have the energy on a Fri. night so I guess shame on me. Unfortunately, we probably won't be back- spending over $150 with one of us having pizza (+2 glasses of sub-par wine) is not the best choice. Sadly, there aren't many good choices left if you are looking to avoid the big box, processed food choices like Olive Garden and Red Lobster in this area.

Sam was excellent and I had a filet mignon which was excellent and my great friend the great plastic surgeon Dr Ted Lazzaro had salmon which was excellent and I give this restaurant five stars!

Valozzi's is one of our favorite local dining spots. They have a delicious menu, excellent wait staff, and a beautiful space. We went Saturday, March 9, 2024 for our daughter and son n law's birthdays and did not disappoint!

Abe's (our server) hospitality was exceptional. It was great to have a birthday dinner with him as our waiter. The food was fantastic at Vallozzi's Greensburg. Portions were large and we were even able to have dinner the next day with the leftovers. I was slightly disappointed in two things regarding food/drinks: 1) I did not see a gin drink option-- perhaps a negroni can be in order? 2) the Caesar salad was very tasty, but had excessive dressing. Nonetheless, I was very happy with the clams, the pinot grigio, and the vodka sauce pasta. One question: WHY WERE THERE SO MANY LILIES in the dining room and vestibule?? I like lilies, but many don't, as they are synonymous with funeral homes and death. They are a flower with a strong scent with a potential emotional trigger for many diners-- would remove.

Got together with some friends and had a great time enjoying the company surrounded by nice people who let us talk and visit while they brought great food and drinks to us. They offer valet parking and the inside and outside of the building definitely fit the part of an Italian restaurant. We've been here several times over the last few years and it gets better each time.

We had not been to Vallozzi's for a couple of years, but had always enjoyed it. This time was not a good as we remembered. Our waitress was pleasant, but not very knowledgeable of the menu when asking questions. Also, she was not as attentive as we would have liked. We were left waiting to get drinks, desert and our check. What should have been an hour meal turned into 2+ hours and there were many empty tables during our visit. As for the food, my wife's meal was good, but my ribeye was very tough and hard to chew. The ribeye was cooked to my liking and the flavor was good but I have never had a ribeye so tough. Overall I would go back but not anytime soon.

Tasteful food and amazing service. Although I understand the restaurant may not be made for family visits, I think the restaurant should include a changing table in the bathroom for babies.

Unusually awful. We love Valozzis. This time, unfortunately, was awful from the service to the food. We didn't get our requested server, our service was slow food wise but rushed table side. The clams appetizer was ok, not fantastic like normal, and the prosciutto/mozzerella appetizer was completely burnt. We sent it back and got the new one to go, as our food service was so slow. When we ate it the next day, it too was unappetizing. They were out of the special, AFTER it was ordered and took some time to let us know. All in all- not a typical experience from Valozzis. We will try again and hopefully they don't disappoint.

Disappointed that the Chicken Francese came out swimming in sauce (our experience is little to no sauce) and the asparagus was substituted with broccolini without even informing the patron before the food came out. My date was previously disappointed with this location and wanted to give it another chance, but the experience did not live up to what was expected. We were going to a show at The Palace Theatre and have plans to attend other events there but we will be looking for another place to eat when we return to Greensburg

It is an excellent Italian restaurant where it seems the locals also hang out—good food, spirits, and wine. Also. They have a great happy hour. Definitely one of the best local restaurants in the area.

For NYE, it was quiet and not chaotic at all. A welcome change from other places that just pack ‘em in for all seatings. Special menu for NYE but it had many of the classic favorites from the regular menu. The crab cake was delicious as was the Arancini (the cheese inside was a welcome surprise). Dianna was attentive and endearing—she's in her first week but knows what she's doing!
