This place is worth a little drive. It's about 30 minutes north of Harrisburg. Thanks for the suggestion of the aged Italian provolone, it's delicious! I'll definitely be back because this might just be the best place for subs in the area.
We went a bit out of our way today to try Nae Nae's in Halifax. We are so glad we did. Rolls are fresh daily. I am a roll person and they were a perfect consistency for a sub. I meat and cheese were high quality. Today was the first time I said “the meat and cheese in this sub is so are so good”. The staff and owner were fantastic, they were happy to pack the toppings separate because we had a 2 hour drive until we could going to enjoy them. From the reviews they must make good subs BUT...the one I got was horrible. Couldn't eat it. First, this is one of those places that take the paper and jam it down into the bottom of the sub before rolling the sub up. The meats are so tough you get tired of trying to chew it apart. The meat and tomatoes were hanging off one side of the bun like how McD's does with their food. The onions were just thrown in the middle.
