We were there today. We ordered 3 burgers, fries and onion rings and a large cheese pizza. Everything was cold but the pizza. They were so cold that it made me about half sick. We drove an hour to eat there. Pretty bad we drove that far to get service like that. We were the first ones there.

I love the 50's restaurant feel. The food is good. The staff is nice. Sometimes the wait is 15 minutes and sometimes it's 45. I guess it depends on the busyness.

Well it's ice cream. It's been years since I had a burger but it's a burger. I am hung up on the service. Extremely slow and it takes forever just to get a cone. But the ice cream is good. I got a medium cone and it looked small. I will pay for proper sizing.

The tropical treat is and has been a mainstay for a good reason. We sat at a picnic table and even during a downpour, the server brought our food to us and was very polite. This, along with the great taste of their food is why Tropical Treat comes very highly recommended!

My better half and I have stopped here for ice cream in the evenings in summer several times. Always enjoy the ice cream and the ambiance of eating under the trees. Service is typically quick, and most of the young help are very accommodating and courteous. It's a night's adventure. Was just the opposite. Our server was very rushed and trying to get her order. We got a waffle cone Sunday and when it was handed to us the whipped cream was already sliding down the side of it. We asked for a cup to put it in since it looked like it was not going to last very long. That got an eye roll and attitude from the server. My wife turned around to leave the counter and the entire half of the Sunday fell off the waffle cone to the ground. We then approached the server and simply asked if we could get some additional whipped cream added to the waffle cone that was now upside down in our cup and again was met with a lot of resistance and more attitude. She reluctantly added more whipped cream as we explained that we didn't even get away from the counter before it collapsed the first time. Manager, we spoke to the manager and he apologized and offered a gift certificate which we refused. We simply hope that he addresses the issue with the servers who are the front line for dealing with the public.
