It was clean, service was quick despite a very busy night with live entertainment. Food was good, the only suggestion is maybe offer more variety to the dinner menu. Otherwise a great experience.

What a great place to gather with old friends and new! Haven't had a single complaint with anything here. Food is good, service is good, and we will continue to bring our celebrations here! Centrally located it makes it very convenient with ample parking for all of us. Thanks for a great experience ?

The music is too loud! We couldn't hear the singer or the guitar, just the drums. They really need to add a grilled chicken sandwich to the menu. The menu is limited at best. The food is gross at times, adequate at other times. They screwed up my drink order and didn't offer to get me another one. Their fries are sad. I miss the Public House! We went every weekend. The food and drinks were fantastic, and the band was just loud enough, but not too loud, so you could have a conversation.

Disappointed

Band was terrible! Band was incredibly LOUD; we all had sore throats just from trying to talk/scream across the table to each other. Waitress, although nice, was gone for long periods of time. 2 of our party of 6 didn't get their food until rest of us were almost finished with ours - and it took forever to get drink refills. Would not recommend this place based on this experience.

They didn't have the reservation after booking it online. They didn't check. Drink selection was not the greatest but it was all for a good cause. Wouldn't go again.

What a great place to unwind. The food is great, the beer and Frozen Crush's are really good. How about the entertainment! There is no place like this in the area. One more thing, the staff and servers are very friendly and make you feel at home.

I used to love the Public House at the Markets of Hanover. We went every weekend. The new owners have removed our favorite foods from the menu. Bring back the grilled chicken sandwich. The food they do serve is not very good. The shrimp was gross. The fries are not very good. They no longer have boneless wings. When we do order Buffalo wings, we get sad looking chicken wings with no flavor. The service has gone downhill as well. The music is much louder than it used to be. I hope now that they have their liquor license, that things will improve.

I can't say enough about this little shop that packs a big punch! Located in the markets in Hanover, I was searching for a warm sandwich for lunch. I came across Craft-Eats and was asked if I wanted to try a sample of their corned beef. I couldn't resist because the smell from the kitchen was amazing. The corned beef was SO good but I wasn't feeling it for lunch so I opted for the hot turkey sandwich with cheddar on apple walnut bread. This sandwich was just perfect-- warm, hearty, a little salty and a little sweet. It was just what I needed for lunch! It came with a few bread and butter pickles on the side. It was such a big portion that I had to take half of it to go. While I was waiting for my sandwich I had a chance to speak with the owners who were so lovely and from Long Island which was a nice surprise! One of the owners even gave my little one a treat which was so nice of her. Their story is a great one and their food is even better. I highly recommend stopping by to pick up either a sandwich or one of their amazing family meals if you're near Hanover-- you will be pleased!

Over all we had a great time and we normally have great service as for this time our server was not good at all. We had to keep repeating our orders over and over and she still was confused and too who wanted what. Drink got mixed up as well. When I went to pay I wish I had an option to pick a lower tip when I paid by phone because it was definitely not worth the 18% minimum.

Took at least 1 hour to get our food after ordering. Excuse was that the kitchen was also supporting a bingo event. Waitress disappeared after taking our order. Three of the eight people at our table received meals that were cold... cold breakfast food = yuck! We were going to go somewhere else, but decided to give this place a chance. Big Mistake! We won't be going back!

order was messed up. we had one table with 2 checks.......4 dinners & one appetizer one dinner was served and 10 minutes later the other dinner and the appetizer was served server handled it well............. sound system was cloudy and not sure it that was the band problem or house problem

Our server was very attentive and pleasant. Food was delicious! Since it was a hot, muggy evening, it would have been better if the doors were closed, especially since people were dancing. It was really warm inside.

We always enjoy our experience at The Public House, however Sunday was a little different. I was there for brunch to celebrate my mother's birthday, 7 of us total, two of which where children ages 4 and 2. Once side of the table was on one check and the other side on another. We placed our orders at the same time but when the food came out, it was only for the one side (the side with the children and their parents). I understand bringing out the kid's food first, but we weren't even given silverware. Once we were able to get proper utensils, the kids could eat. That side of the table was over halfway done their meal before our food even came out. I just would've thought that everything could've been brought out at the same time. Was frustrating as the food isn't the cheapest and I felt like we had to rush through especially when the other half of our party was finished eating.

The service was good. The food was meh. I had heard a lot about this place, so I was expecting a little more from it. My husband and I got the crab pretzel and the salmon with crab imperial on top. I didn't taste the crab pretzel, but my husband seemed to like it. The salmon with crab imperial was ok. The crab imperial was runny and did not taste like crab. It also had way too many onions in it which overtook any other flavors of the crab imperial. We had a gift card, so for what we actually ended up paying for it was nice. Other than that, not sure we'll be back for a while.

Since we found this gem a couple of months ago, we have come back a few times. St. Patty's Day was a first. Great music venue, service is great and the Corned beef and cabbage was great. Crab pretzel and appetizers are well worth it. Let's not forget drinks...a variety for everyone and the flights are a nice touch. Went back for a brunch. Everyone enjoyed it. The avacado toast, traditional breakfast and shrimp salad croissant were all enjoyable. Again, the service was impeccable. This seems to be a go-to for us, now.
