I am 1 of the many contractors Jim or Kevin or whatever he wants to call himself has not paid since June ‘23. Jim is a CON man that hides behind soup.Jim, if you would like to settle your bill, please call me. Thank you.

I've not eaten at Pho Viet, and I very much doubt that I will. Between unfair prices and questionable health & food safety, I'm not sure anybody should eat there. I just want to inform contractors to be very wary of providing any type of service for Pho Viet. The owner (Chan/James) does not pay for services rendered. In mid-2023, I performed four days of work on his building and he has yet to pay, nearly a year later. Why support his business if he doesn't support local contractors?

Pho Viet? More like Pho-nomenally disappointing! I had the misfortune of dining at this so-called Vietnamese restaurant, and let me tell you, it was a culinary catastrophe from start to finish.First off, the ambiance was about as inviting as a dentist's waiting room. The décor seemed like it was inspired by a failed attempt at a theme park version of Vietnam, complete with tacky plastic palm trees and neon signs that screamed "tourist trap" louder than a jet engine. But let's get to the main event: the pho. Or should I say, the sorry excuse for pho. The broth tasted like it had been watered down with dish soap, lacking any depth or flavor whatsoever. And don't even get me started on the noodles – they were so overcooked that they disintegrated into a mushy mess the moment they touched my spoon. It was like slurping up strands of soggy spaghetti from a can.And as for the meat, well, let's just say I've had more tender shoe leather. It was tough, chewy, and devoid of any seasoning or flavor. I might as well have been chewing on a rubber tire for all the enjoyment I got out of it.But the real kicker was the service. It was as if the staff had been trained to be as unhelpful and indifferent as possible. My waitress looked like she'd rather be anywhere else than serving me, and it showed in her attitude and lack of attention to detail. In conclusion, if you have any respect for your taste buds and your hard-earned money, steer clear of Pho Viet. You'd have a better dining experience microwaving a frozen TV dinner than subjecting yourself to the culinary disaster that is this restaurant. Save yourself the disappointment and find somewhere else to satisfy your pho cravings – anywhere else would be a step up from this sorry excuse for Vietnamese cuisine.

A true Pho experience

Meal was overpriced for how mediocre the food was unfortunately. No tap water, only bottled. For how recently the restaurant was renovated, it felt a bit run down. Owner was friendly and service was fine.

We were told that they don’t serve tap water and were forced to purchase bottled water. Additionally, the food seemed pricey to me for small portions. I would have liked to return, but don’t like to feel like I am being taken advantage of.

Service was friendly. Food very bland. The disinfectant used to clean up the tables doesn't mix well while eating dinner. Very potent. Disgusting scent.

Extremely overpriced! I ordered the pho and it had very little meat. Very small portion, no cilantro with the pho order. Ordered a water and was charged for it. Definitely taking advantage of the fact they are the only show in town.

Food is flavorless and pales in comparison to PHO in the Baltimore/Washington metro area. Food safety is not a priority here. Check out the disgusting, undercooked wonton shrimp I recieved.

I highly recommend this location. I went there tonight for my anniversary and they are very kind, professional and the food taste amazing. The atmosphere is very up beat. I liked the music and the colorful lights and decorations are beautiful to look at. I was greeted Right away and taken to a table. The menu has many options and they are happy to explain any dishes if you are unfamiliar or a first time customer. You can not go wrong with the fruit smoothies. They have one of the freshest fruit smoothies in all of York. The price is a bit high however it is 100% worth it. I hope that my review inspires people to pay them a visit. My husband had their beef fried rice and said it's the hands down best fried rice he has had in all of Hanover. We have been waiting for months for this location to open up and I'm so happy that I got to spend tonight enjoying a very deliousicus meal and experience.
