The Landing was one of my family's go-to restaurants for you know, nicer dinners, get-togethers with the in laws, etc for . With how much our world has changed these last 3 years life kept getting in the way of our larger get togethers - but my husband & I still love to visit the bar semi-frequently when we happen to have time off together. We will continue to support one of our original hangouts - aside from the food alone the staff are the most genuine "real" people - which is hard to find these days.

The interior and decor is nicely done. I had a Mediterranean salad with grilled chicken. Very fresh and tasty. Nice selections on the menu. The staff was good but needed to adjust their customer service a bit. Or I would have gave our dining g experience a 5 star.

She was so nice, prossional and gave EXCELLENT customer service. I wish all of our staff could be that great. Hold onto her, she is truly a great asset to your company.

I had heard good things about the landing, so I thought I would give it a try. We ordered for pickup. When we got it home, the onion soup we ordered was in a container without a lid, so needless to say it had spilled all over the other food. What didn't spill was watered down broth with cheese.The two crab cakes were slightly larger than a golf ball, one was edible ,the other one was so salty we could barely eat it. Meal included a small red potato and green beans which again we couldn't eat. I never got my salad. The only saving grace was the cobb salad which was very good. The next time I want to spend $100 on dinner, it will not be at the landing.

I Ordered 2 BOWLS of cream of crab soup to go. Went to pick them up and the total was $19.08 which I thought was pricey for 2 bowls of soup but then I picked up the bag and it weighed nothing. I took the 2 small containers out of the bag and asked the waitress why they were so light. She replied that the bowls of soup are only 12oz. I questioned how light they were for 12 oz. and she dismissed it. Got home, opened the soup containers and they were only 2/3 full. I measured them each and they were not quite 8 oz. each....a cup, not a bowl as I suspected! I called to speak to the mgr/owner, who called me back later. He was rather unconcerned but offered to credit the soup back to my card. Guess what, they never gave my credit card back to me when they handed me the charge receipt. He found it in the register.This is the 2nd time there, both times were bad and there definitely won't be a third visit!

The staff was great.The food was delicious and the portions were generous.The restaurant was clean. My only complaint was that there was no lighting in the parking lot. It was hard to see where we were walking going to and from the car which was scary to my 80 year old Mom. Next time I'll remember to use my flashlight app. We will definitely eat here again.

We eat here quite often - especially like their French onion and cream of lump crab soups. But this review isn't about the menu - it should be apparent that we like to eat there or we wouldn't return as often as we do. There last several months have been hell for people in the restaurant business as most of you know. It's a tough business in the best of circumstances, and the places that were able to work their way through the pandemic often did so by the skin of their teeth as we used to say. Everybody has had and continues to have staffing issues - it's difficult for even the best restaurants to stabilize their staffing in good times - almost impossible here lately. So it's not at all unusual to go to a restaurant two weeks in a row and see a totally different group of host and wait persons. Tonight we hit the jackpot!! We were seated in Sarah 's section of the dining room and right from the get go it was going to be a great experience. She was pleasant, very attentive without being overly so, and just fun to do business with. She's a special one - hope she doesn't run into the revolving door too soon!!! Ask for her if you go - you won't be disappointed!!!

Food was pretty good. Mike was our server. He obviously didn't want to be there or wanted us there either. Barely saw him and when we did, we had to yell to get his attention or he probably wouldn't have checked back in to see if we needed our drinks refreshed.
Food and service were awesome. Will definitely go back.

Needed someplace to take family while visiting Hanover. Found Staubs on line..gave them a shot. First, the place was CLEAN..second, the food was excellent. Everybody had burgers except me. Burgers actually tasted like beef and were done to order. PLUS: they were HUGE! I stuck my neck out and ordered scallops with grilled red potatoes and broccoli. Much to my surprise the scallops were fresh and cooked perfectly. Potatoes were crispy and done to perfection. Even the broccoli was steamed well. Oh, forgot to mention that i had a salad prior to my meal. It was NOT you usual head lettuce/not much else salad. Mixed greens, tomatoes, etc., and made with obvious care. We WILL go back!

After passing by on numerous occasions, we finally had the opportunity to eat at Staub's Landing. We are very happy that we made the visit as we liked the restaurant very much. There was a wide variety of options for either lunch or dinner. There was much more than your typically pub fare. The sandwiches were very good and the service was excellent.
