Visiting one last time before they close. Sad to lose this place. Happy hour, brunch, birthdays and more! Thanks for all the welcome memories.

Sad to say that my last visit here was not a good one. They were out of a lot of menu items, which was to be expected in the restaurant's final weekend in business, but what we did get was underwhelming. The traditional eggs Benedict just looked sad on our plates. The hollandaise sauce was runny and very acidic, like it was almost all lemon juice. Very disappointing and perhaps enlightening as to why a restaurant that was once one of the area's best brunch spots is closing for good. Perhaps something better will open here once the new courthouse is up and running.

Best restaurant in Harrisburg for sure! I loved the atmosphere and that they had a limited menu, not a lot of places do this and I wish they would because it makes the food so much better!! It was all fresh ingredients and very very good!

Food and drink were fantastic! Doug the bartender really made it a memorable experience. That guy gets it. Only weird vibe was from man in vest with gloves but otherwise an amazing experience. Would recommend to all

Very classy and vast tasty food! Every experience here has been very enjoyable and the atmosphere makes it feel like a fancy brunch with friends! The servers are personable and very pleasant! Definitely my top place for brunch in Harrisburg!!

Brunch here is soooo good! I had the crab cake benedict with a side of cheesy grits. They also have pitchers of bellini's and bloody Mary's, although that isn't listed on the menu. Make reservations. We forgot, but were able to sit at the bar. Our server was extremely attentive and friendly. The space itself is so bright and airy due to the big windows. I would definitely visit again. Our party of 3 was able to split the price of our Bellini pitcher, and we each got two nice glasses out of it. For $25 for the 3 of us to drink, it was well worth it.

Excellent Saturday brunch option. We had the Brie app, and it was very good. For our mains we had Benedict with pork belly, pork belly huevos rancheros, and California omelet. We were all very pleased with our selections. It's not often you get really good coffee in restaurants these days, but theirs is top notch, and we are particular about our coffee. We'll be back! Highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I went for breakfast this morning, and other than us there was one other table in there. We ordered the simplest thing on the menu, eggs, toast, bacon, and we were suppose to have potatoes too. After 15 minutes of our order being placed the waitress came over and told us they didn’t have anymore potatoes and offered a side salad in place of it, FOR BREAKFAST. We finally got our breakfast and it was ice cold. When I say ice cold, it wasn’t even luke warm. The butter wouldn’t melt on the toast, the dippy eggs weren’t even dippy, and the bacon was so cold I had to ask for new bacon. This was our first time here, and I will not be returning, maybe for dinner or lunch but never breakfast again. Steer clear from here for breakfast.

I've been here several times with my boyfriend and the food is amazing. Especially the French toast pudding bites and the French toast donuts. You really can't go wrong with anything in the menu!

This will be my last time visiting Cafe 1500, overall it's been disappointment after disappointment. The food is priced similarly to other brunch places but is severely underseasoned and underflavored. Portions very small too. Today, not only was the food lackluster, but our mains never came out! A table who came in after us received their food and left before we even got our mains. The waitress said they were backed up, but it really didn't seem like it. When the dishes arrived they also got the side dish wrong, which they fixed soon.

Planned a surprise party for the back room for 15-20 people originally. We never confirmed a final headcount as part of our contract with a $200 deposit. Multiple emails were sent back and forth two months in advance about planning and booking. When we arrived, we had no issues and the food was pretty good. 12 people ended up showing (3 could not make it). We were charged for 30 people at $35 a person. There was not nearly enough food for 30 people. The manager was not helpful at first. He was very difficult to review the contract and understood there was never anything about 30 people. The place was dead for a Friday night and I think he was trying to make a quick buck off our party ($1500!!!)Our waitress was amazing and so helpful during the entire process! We ended up paying the appropriate amount ($500). If you book a private event make sure every detail is clarified and documented so you don’t get ripped off!

To start, this is an open space cute place to eat. They do special bloody Mary's and huge pitchers of mimosas both for around $17. The food was great, except the bacon which was extremely thin and had no taste. That is coming from bacon fanatics. In the first photo we have the BLAT (Bacon, Lettuce, Avocado, and Tomato) with a side of bacon (multiple side choices!) The second photo is the crab cake eggs Benedict. It was real crab, not from a can thank God. It was surprisingly good and I wanted more the next day. Lastly, the drinks is the normal bloody and the specialty which at the time was an Indian style. It had a cheese puff pastry (omg yum), saffron chicken, and a hard boiled egg. The two drinks did have different spices, but were similar. Regular $9 versus $17. I'd get it again weekly to try the new ones. I thought it was well worth it.

So far so good. I have been there twice. No complains. Great food, great ambiance, loved the customer service and brunch on the weekend and the mimosas garafas are excellent too

Food was ok. I found the food I a bit overpriced given the portions. The price/quality of the happy hour drinks saved the day!

Had the veggie scramble, really really great coffee. Top notch ingredients, great service, and a really good playlist all morning. Solid bruch place, I'm guessing the rest of the dining experiences would be on par too.
