The cake Ciao! Bakery made for a Birthday/"End of Summer" party I hostessed this past weekend was outstanding! The detail on the cake was amazing and the cake (vanilla cake with lemon and raspberry filling) was delicious! I worked with Hannah on the idea for the cake . . . it was above and beyond anything I had imagined! Hannah was professional, attentive to details and very easy to work with. I picked up the cake on Saturday at Bricco; they were courteous and helpful, assisting me in getting the cake to my vehicle. I was impressed with how carefully the cake was boxed to ensure it wasn't damaged in transit. Aside from the quality of the cake and the exceptional customer service, the cake was reasonably priced . . . the entire experience with Ciao! was positive, beginning to end. The cake was the absolute hit of our get-together. I would recommend Ciao! to anyone looking to order a specialty cake and will definitely work with them again for my future cake needs.

My family got me my birthday cake from Ciao and I have to say it was the perfect cake! It was almost to pretty to eat but I soon got over that and devoured my piece. It tasted as good as it looked! I begrudgingly shared it with the rest of my family. Thank you, Ciao for a lovely cake!

Very disappointed from the storefront to the food. My husband and I were so looking forward to sitting at a delicious cafe. We wanted to go to another one but they were closed. We looked online and saw Ciao's was open and seemed to have a good amount of stars. We got to the "cafe", it is extremely tiny. There are two tall small tables with 2 stool chairs. There is one by the window and the other jammed into the corner of the display cases. You can't really sit! The sandwiches

Just celebrated my birthday with a great cake from Ciao...3 layer chocolate cake with mocha frosting. Absolutely delicious! Ciao is the best bakery in town. Keep up the great baking!
Ciao Bakery did the cake and desserts for my wedding and they were amazing! Cakes tasted amazing and the specialty cupcakes looked very nice and expensive. They had the best prices. Specialty cupcakes were $2 each and nice size. Wedding cake was very affordable as well. They delivered on time and set up with ease. They didn't need me at all which I appreciated on the day of my wedding. If you're looking for the cute cake tasting experience for your wedding you won't really get that here as this no fluff business just does the job and does it well but just trust them and they won't disappoint. Would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Yes, there are cookies, bars, cupcakes and other standard bakery items (which are all great). However, the soups and sandwiches are exceptional! The ingredients are high quality and they are carefully prepared and the results are delicious. The short rib and onion stew is stellar. Highly recommend for lunch! And of course for baked goods too.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate that Harrisburg has an amazing bakery like this? I went to Pittsburgh back in May and we tried looking up the best bakeries and they didn't even come close to Ciao. There's always something new and different and it makes you feel like you're walking into the Great British Bake Off every day.
