First time there last night and I gotta say I was blown away. I grew up in NOLA and the south for 30 yrs; that was the closest I’ve come to authentic southern/cajun since I moved here! Would DEFINITELY recommend! Plus it’s absolutely gorgeous and a great vibe!Vegetarian options: There were a couple veggie options and they were perfectly seasoned

Such a wonderful night, also Andreea from Hollywood Pictures was amazing, her warm greetings that she brought to the table made us feel so comfortable and welcomed to that place! Great pictures!

We went here for Valentine's day, thinking to give the place a try, the service was ok at first we got a seat pretty much immediately "the place was dead", and we never got to see a drink menu so we chose water with lemon. Not that there are many options to choose from if you're not over 21, the menu was a sheet of paper consisting of a list of I'm pushing it if I say more than 7 items. Now like I said we were giving this a try and don't know the regular menu, the waitress brings out salad, claims to have run out of 2 of the dressings and then finally when we get the dressing there was no silverware, so we waited until we asked another host to bring us a set, when maybe 5 minutes later our food arrives, seems a bit early but we dig in, and her steak was charred like someone had smeared charcoal powered over the outside of it for seasoning... The worst part of this all was after we were all done with the meal the waitress then asks us using a tone you would use with your 5 year old, if we would like the check and some boxes, I declined the boxes and paid a staggering 85 dollars for the meal... Oh yea plus a generous 12 dollar tip for the waitress, before we even leave she pointed out the money I left for the tip and goes," is that for me?"And pointed at herself. Snatched the money and was on her way, very greedy. Not going here again, better service menu and food at iron hill brewery for the same prices, maybe even a bit cheaper.

Tales the guy that was doing the hollywood pictures tonight, was amazing I would definitely recommend going there for great food and also great photography with Tales with hollywood pictures at crawdaddys!

Where do I start… let’s start with the positives. The chef was great. Food was very tasty, the snapper was seasoned to perfection & our waitress Tionie was professional.Now…. Where to start with the cons! Was not waited by any host or hostess at the door while the sign said wait to be seated. We were actually looked out by one of gwv many plain clothed “staffers” before being seated.The waitress that was suppose to help us took a table seated after us because the knew each other. None of the “staffers” checked on is during our meal but checked on the familiar table. They jacked up our bill, requiring a “staff”Meeting to correct the error. Then they had the audacity to blame our waitress who noticed it and helped correct the error.Lastly, 18% gratuity built in without notification on the menu!I like to support black businesses, especially when I visit from out of town. Y’all need to do better!
