I am not a going out person at all. The main reason I considered this place was the bartender pasion ! She is a great worker and person, I know her from a previous job and could not decide where to go! I arrived downtown at second street attempting to go to Sawyers but turns out they are not open even though Google states they are, and with today being my birthday I could not just go home I walked from there to district lounge because that's the only place I felt comfortable enough to go to long story short pasion made My birthday a success! She greeted me with a smile and noticed when I needed another drink I just appreciate the experience please give her a raise!

If I could give this place a negative rating, I would. Use to be okay back in the day but went way downhill. First off, it's ROACH infested! So if you're hoping for food, I wouldn't go here. Secondly the music is so loud you won't be able to hear yourself think! Whether it's crowded or has one person the music is BLASTED all night with an annoying fake siren noise the DJ likes to play in the back. And it's no longer safe here, every month there seems to be another shooting right after they let out. I'd say try at your own risk, but this place isn't worth your life!

Our server/bartender was very helpful! We had a bumpy start since the menu is different than what is listed online. Apparently there has been a change in management in the last few weeks, so they are working through the kinks. The owner came out to greet us which was a nice gesture. The menu is basic, but the food came out hot and it was delicious! I got the fried fish sandwich and I loved the seasoning they used in the batter. The cook came out to check on us as well as the owner and our server. They were really trying hard to please us. Thank you!

Had a nice little dinner here with my daughter. The owner was hanging out, and he was very hospitable, even got me a drink on the house. Great location, great vibes. Don't sleep on this place!

First time here and the service was excellent and the food good. Must come at night for the wings.
When you travel to another city expecting the food to be good and it's not.. I ordered two dishes fish and grits and steak and eggs the fish and grits had no flavor and I asked for my steak medium well but it arrived to the table well done accompanied by eggs out of the carton. I've been here once before for brunch and the food was good, which is what made me return but today I was very disappointed in the lack luster presentation and quality of the food. My brunch companions didn't enjoy the food either. The drinks and service was good but that's about it. If the District has switched chefs perhaps think about switching back because today I was very disappointed and will not return. If your looking for the total brunch package The District isn't the place unfortunately.

My daughter's took me for Mother's Day. The food and atmosphere was amazing. I just went again and had brunch with my Husband. Food again was emaculant. Giving Harrisburg the District was a good choice. I love it. Workers are honest. I left my purse. It was there later that night when I returned

This place has totally ruined the neighborhood. They cater to a very rowdy crowd and do nothing to contain the violence that they create. Since they opened, this otherwise quiet block has become plagued by nightly shootings on the weekend. The City Council needs to close this place down for creating a public disturbance.
