Back for another RiRi Rates/Reviews and we are here at Feed Your Soul Harrisburg PA! And let me start by saying this is by far one of the BEST restaurants I have ever had the pleasure in rating/reviews and I have been all over the oast 20 years.First impressions- The smell smacks you the second you open the door it is incredible! Mixed with the the zen quality but also new York style decor extremely unique.Customer service/information- Very welcoming environment, friendly, clean and made to order so FRESH is what you will be receiving so patience is a virtue if ordering take-out (well worth ever second) they also have a call ahead option for on the goers and a nice selection of tables. I did notice they also allow reservations for occasions which is perfect.Now on to the best parts as always!I want to start by saying that this is not your typical fast food soul food place. This place is down right home cooking at its finest!!!! The menu is bountiful right down to the 16 side options available!!!!-fried chicken was so amazing I couldn't even get to my sides tbh until the end. I could taste very hint of flavors used, the skin was fried to perfection.Candied Yams- Once again the best hands down I've ever had I could taste at least 3 flavors made to perfection.Corn on the cob- melted off the cob and seasoned juicy.Mac and cheese- Delicious flavorful and I love that they made sure all portions had some of the crust we all crave.Cornbread- Buttery sweet and fluffy!!!!!!Mango peach homemade Kool aid yes I said Kool aid and it tasted like the most amazing Popsicle on the hottest summer day I would literally drive the hour again just for that tbh.Strawberry-lemonade cake- words cannot describe the level of deliciousness and huge serving a must try if you have a sweet tooth (they have a large option of dessert available freshly prepared)Last but certainly not least the Spanish style yellow rice was my favorite of this food run today I honestly don't know what special magic ingredients were used in this rice but it was by far the best rice in the East Coast.Until next timeXOXO RiRiKid-friendliness: Kids menu available

Great atmosphere but food was mediocre. I spent over $20 on a burger and fries with a $5 Koolaid added on. Burger was the size of a large mcdouble meal. Kinda disappointing.

My cake taste like stale cornbread with icing...I hope she feels better tomorrow☺️

Absolutely wonderful!!! I was in town preaching a revival and was looking for some soul food on a Sunday. Most places are closed. Did I ever find some! Pork chops were hot, crispy and perfectly seasoned. Mac & cheese was on point. And those yams -- Lawd, have mercy! Great prices too. The owners were engaging, kind and upbeat. I really enjoyed talking with the gentleman out front. He makes everyone feel at home. Stay encouraged, folks. You have a gift! May God favor your business and give you the strength the persevere despite the obstacles or opposition that may come your way. HE is greater. Keep looking up. See you next time. God bless!

Absolutely amazing! We ordered their fried chicken special for takeout, and it turned out to be one of the best fried chickens I ever had! The sides were delicious as well. Mac and cheese had a nice charred top, and the collard greens had a complex sour, slightly sweet, slightly bitter, umami flavor! Their greens was some of the best greens I ever had! We had their sweet potato pie for dessert, and it was out of this world. Will definitely come back to this soul food restaurant. Never expected to have one of the best soul food I ever had in the heart of Pennsylvania.Shoutout to the people who run this place, they were super nice and accommodating. It shows that soul food is their passion!
