First visit and view of the extensive menu. Service was promt and, polite. The wait for lunch meals minimal. There's lots of potential delights to ponder on my next visit.

Their Thai is definitely top notch. The waiter, when we ordered tofu, actually asked if we wanted vegan versus me having to run down the just of things I would like to avoid. That was very helpful. He made no assumptions and the other person who wanted tofu got the dish with fish sauce as she wanted, and I got mine without nonvegan ingredients and nothing was awkward. And it was all very tasty.

The crispy kapow chicken is amazing, my wife loves the sweet and sour vegetables. I just tried the drunken noodles and that's going to be one of my favorites now. It might seem a little pricey but we always get at least two meals from the portions they give.

Have always had good food. It's never busy when I go for lunch. I assume they do a lot of takeout. Good service as well. Overall worth a stop.

I’m really shocked by the reviews that gave this 5 stars. They must not have been to good and authentic Thai restaurants. As a Philly native who has been to a plethora of Thai restaurants from different cities, this one is at the bottom of the list. My husband and I dined here for our first time and the place was practically empty. There was one other table. Even though it was empty, the server was absent most of the time and took a while to take our order and come back to check in on us. We both ordered the drunken noodles. My husband got the beef and I got the fried tofu. The tofu was a mistake because it lacked any flavor and the texture was weird. It was very spongey and dry. The weird thing about this dish was that they served it over a bed of fresh lettuce. I couldn’t tell if it was for presentation or for consumption. And if it was, I don’t know if they washed it. They also throw in chopped tomatoes which I found odd for that dish. This did not taste like an authentic drunken noodles dish. I was very disappointed in it. I packed my leftovers, but it just sat in my fridge for a week and then I tossed it. The oil they use doesn’t taste good and they drench it. The noodles and veggies are very greasy and you just feel gross after eating it.On top of that, the interior needs a renovation or some updates. It’s very dark and dingy. Doesn’t feel inviting at all. Needless to say, I would not recommend this place. Unfortunately, Harrisburg is extremely lacking in good quality, authentic cuisines. It’s basically a food wasteland.

This place is super trash because they did not just their updated prices but instead tell customers the prices changed for the menus they have and those prices on the menu are incorrect. I asked Hire much something was and couldn't even get an exact price. This leaves room for discriminating if everyone is not paying the same price and current prices aren't reflecting for all to see. I do not recommend a shady place to do business with. I do not recommend!

Food was incredible. Service was awesome. A wonderful hole in the wall we're happy to have stumbled upon.

I've eaten here three times with friends, sampled about 10 dishes, and loved almost all of them. The only one that wasn't great was the green curry, which for me was too sweet, although I reheated the leftovers the next day and enjoyed them much more. I was super into the pork belly with Chinese broccoli dish, which was just right, crispy fatty, but enough green to make it eat light and refreshing. Ate the whole platter, and felt great about it.

Kanlaya Thai food is delicious and they serve sufficient portions for the prices. My husband and I were there years ago and enjoyed the food, and again a few days ago. We were craving Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles, and have grown disappointed with another Thai restaurant off Rt. 15 in Dillsburg that has significantly reduced their portions while raising their pricing. We will be making the drive to Kanlaya again.

Fantastic food, great service. Will definitely be coming back for more good food! The building itself was a bit unusual. You park in the side lot and walk around to the entrance you'll be in a hallway of a mini-mall and then turn into the restaurant. Very straight forward once you know where you're going. It's an actual restaurant just a wacky entrance.
