Then after a grueling month, I found Pepper Pot.Firstly, when you walked into the restaurant, YOU SMELL THE FOOD IMMEDIATELY! That is a big deal because it says that they are cooking food on spot, versus cooking earlier and leaving it out.I had the oxtail, rice and plantain. Oxtail was falling off the bone, properly seasoned, and browned to perfection. The white rice was cooked well, not soggy at all. The plantains were a bit half ripe and I prefer ripe plantain but I ended up going back to order another portion because it was still good.The service was IMPECCABLE!! The lady almost brought a tear to my eye because besides the food, I got a taste of our warm Caribbean love and charisma.I thank the owners of Pepper Pot so much and would ALWAYS recommend!

I ain't never have no good bake Mac from a Jamaican until today! I had curry chicken rice & peas baby it was all that!! Than I went back because the food was that good & got brown stew chicken babyyyy it was so good!! Im never getting Jamaican food from nowhere else but here!!

Tryed this place with my husband for the first time and in a nutshell shell wasn’t bad but definitely can be improved. The food did not taste bad, but I didn’t get the authenticity that I was looking for. The service was A1. The lady who served us was very polite and kind. She informed and greeted us when we said it was our first time here and showed us to the menu. The food was a bit pricey but we paid for it because it’s been years since I had Jamaican food. The atmosphere was better then many in Harrisburg but you always want to keep all the tables clean just in case you have eat in guest, which the one table was not. The facilities were very clean and smelled nice. There was some nice music playing and I felt very comfortable. Overall it was a nice experience, but was not happy about the portions of what you get compared to the prices. All together we spent $57 dollars for two platters, two beef patties, a small container of white rice and plantains and a couple of drinks. (We had gotten a third bottle of water for 50 cents off the original price which was nice). Not sure if we will be back but it was a nice experience nevertheless. Thanks for the hospitality!
The Goat Curry and the Chicken Curry are my favorites. The food is authentic and tastes homemade. Shermeila was very courteous and kept our order ready for us and offeres to add a l8ttle fresh gravy to refresh the food. Glad to have Jamaican good available in our community!

Pepper Pot's food reminds me of home. Being from NY, I truly miss Jamaican Food. This restaurant didn't disappoint. The ox ? tails, stew, and jerk chicken were out of this world ?. I am definitely returning when I'm in Harrisburg.The atmosphere was casual. The service was on point. I'm happy I took that 1.5 hour drive. ?Parking: Lots of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor entrance.
This was our first time here and we enjoyed our Stew chicken with rice and peas. The flavor was really good. Chicken was very tender. Will definitely go again soon!
