I love this place. I think the ownership has changed relatively recently. The prices are great, the service is spot on, and the food is good. If you are looking for a solid diner, this is your spot.

Stopped in for breakfast. Nice menu, affordable prices and the food is delicious. Love having tots as a breakfast potato option and those tots were piping hot and crispy delicious. I had sausage eggs Benedict which I have never seen on a menu before. The eggs were perfectly poached, a great plate of food. Don't sleep on this place. Looking forward to our next visit.

Service was slow. I didn't get everything I ordered, had to get a doggie bag and take some home. Food was luke warm at best, couldn't get any extra napkins, and roast turkey was not roast turkey. It was turkey deli meat. Mashed potatoes were cold and lumpy.

Owner poorly secured outside tents. Wind blew one into traffic damaging a vehicle. Owner laughed and went inside after the driver tried to express discontent, and get his information. Don't support this integrity lacking place.

Coffee and breakfast was exceptional. And the prices crazy cheap these days. Can't say enough about the quality of the food and especially the service by Mary. Can't wait to go again when I visit Harrisburg! A hidden gem!!

An unexpected great find! Food was delicious, service wonderful!!! Was a little hesitant from looking at the outside but was glad we went in!

Food was average, the appearance could use some work. One being a vent on the wall not even cut to the wall shape. The inside of the wall is exposed to inside room. It's also extremely loud when it was on. I witnessed an employee (name kept private) use her hands to take bacon from a customers plate to another plate in order to cook it more. The coffee supplier they use was quite good.

Progress DinerMy first visit Friday Feb. 24-have been passing by it for a few months and am very happy i stopped in."Sit anywhere you want", indicated server Ashley courteously.Located in a older two story a few blocks north of Union Deposit Rd., it is small but has breathing room.Country music at just the right levelwhite board specials greeted me as I entered. At 11:05 i could still get breakfast and i was happy to find out it's served all day.Perfect menu for central Pa small diner:yes--they do have scrapple, sausage and creamed chip beef, country-fried steak, homemade biscuits, a variety of benedicts and omelets.Coffee nice and hot and a cut above average, toast hot and buttered out to the edges; perfectly cooked over easy eggshome fries kind of a cross between hashed browns with nicely browned crust. i added a little salt and pepper to them. Grits or tater tots available.extra napkinsFive star caring service from Ashley.Owned by same people that own Bridge Street Diner in New Cumberland. Will indeed be back for breakfast--and anxious to try lunch and dinner.

Great food and great service. It's in a old house and the atmosphere is great. The biscuits and gravy are home made and went with the tots. I was in town for the great American outdoors show and had breakfast here both days. It's a must. Support local buy local.

Really solid no fills breakfast. Basic but in all the good ways. Will definitely swing through again! Amazing service too! Nice and bright good cup of regular coffee. Home fries cooked nice, could use a little seasoning but that's just me.
