We ordered moro with chicken and steak with white rice, fried egg and tostones. Food was very good. I was expecting those latin flavors I so much love and that was exactly what I got. Flavorful rice and well seasoned meat.

I was so excited to find out that there was an Ecuadorian restaurant in Harrisburg and it did not disappoint. I ordered the fritada, which is only available on Fridays. Pork was crispy and flavorful, potato cakes were filled with gooey cheese. Everything was fresh. I did takeout, but would love to try eating in sometime.

Well made, actual food just 10-minutes off the Turnpike and super friendly service. I’ll definitely return.

The food was amazing and the service was 100%. The chef delivered the food to us herself and ensured we were satisfied. I ordered an extra soursop freshly made juice after eating because it was so good

Amazing Ecuadorian food! ? Best place in PA in my experience! Came from VA to try this exquisite food and we left very satisfied. Still here for one more day, going back for more. The owners Hector & Marisol) are very accommodating and make you feel like eating at home. Jacob (our waiter) was very attentive and took great care of us… If you’re in Harrisburg, PA this is a must stop for authentic traditional Ecuadorian food. Thank you for this awesome culinary experience.

Welcoming family run restaurant with soft Ecuadorian jams playing and fire fire fire food. We had the fritada (pictured) and lomito saltado and left glowing. Can’t wait to come back!

Best food and customer service ever!! Came here passing by with my boyfriend and we enjoyed a wonderful meal at a family owned restaurant. The service was amazing and the food was even better! The sauce that came with the calamari (I asked for more to put on my seafood rice)!Less than $50 with 2 meals and an appetizer.

We got take-out dinner from Roots of My Land. The people are very, very nice, friendly and will answer any questions you have. The Specials of the Day are examples of special that may or may not be available on that particular day. You need to ask which specials are available on the day you are dining. But they will explain everything to you without any problems. The food we had was very good. The grilled beef was tender and spicy. The fried fish was some of the best I have ever had. I highly recommend giving Roots of My Land a try.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT! The owners were extremely welcoming, attentive and were super friendly. They even gave us a local newspaper to help us see what the neighborhood was about and local events happening this past weekend. The food was delicious, freshly prepared and very authentic to the Ecuadorian cuisine. As an Ecuadorian myself, I can tell you this food was delicious. Reminded me of my moms cooking!!The restaurant was super clean and had authentic Ecuadorian music playing in the background. The experience was great!Definitely visit, order the fruit juice with milk if you want a creamy treat. I got the blueberry one and it was to die for. If you want something refreshing, then order them in water. The Moro rice was BANGING!!! Just go and check them out!!!

Being an American Ecuadorian & having been in Ecuador MANY times to visit family, I can tell you this restaurant is legit! The food reminds me very much of the delicious Ecuadorian food I grew up with & have eaten in Ecuador. If you have never tasted Ecuadorian food go directly to Roots of My Land to savor authentic Ecuadorian cuisine. A true hidden (& delicious) gem. I will definitely be going back!
