I was in line, waiting to place my order athe North Progress Avenue location on 3/15/24. The man in front of me, was waiting to pay for his order. He had ordered one of the cheapest 6" subs on the menu. In his hand, he held some cash. The older woman who waited on this man, spoke broken English. She rudely instructed the man to put money in the "box" and would not accept his payment for his sandwich, until he did so. The patron stood there looking at her, I could tell he was shocked by his expression, he was shaking his head yes, because she rudely asked him...if he understood her. The man still had not placed money in the tip box. She said "I made your sandwich...you put money in the box". I spoke up and asked this very RUDE individual, are you not going to accept his payment, unless he tips you? She looked at me and again stated..."I made his sandwich, he put money in box". At this point, I told the woman...that's just rude ma'am...and walked out...took my business elsewhere. I really felt for this man...it takes seconds to show kindness to somebody and seconds to make somebody feel like they are worthless. Leaving a tip is a CHOICE, based on services rendered, especially for takeout. What happens, if somebody does not have extra money for a tip?I understand waitresses and waiters, rely on tips and I personally always leave a tip, if I walk into an establishment. But what happened yesterday, was totally unprofessional!!Is it the policy of this Subway, to now...not accept payment, unless you tip? The North Progress Avenue location has always been my favorite subway, based on proximity to my home. After what I witnessed yesterday, I will never order from there again!

When we stay at the Hilton, we always stop here to pick up our meals. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly and the food is prepared fresh. Keep up the good work. See you next time when we are in town.

Excellent sandwich today. I got a 6 inch chicken bacon ranch. Everything was made correctly and ready for pick up when I arrived.

The person working was very friendly! Food was good. The subway club seemed a bit lighter on meat than the chicken bacon ranch. Fast and, again, super friendly. Bathrooms were clean. Parking was easy, not too far from the interstate.

Spent ten dollars yesterday and the guy made a big deal of me not carrying .06 change with me. I am going to bring it back for them but didn't appreciate being treated like a thief.

TL;DR - Easy online ordering; fast and convenient pickup; excellent food! I usually like to choose my eating places carefully, and I especially like to go to local, non-chain restaurants that are new to me, but I needed something quick today, something that wouldn't require a lot of research. So, I did an online order at this Subway for pickup. Subway isn't new to me, but this one is, as is the online ordering system. I do like Subway's online ordering system. It's easy to follow, and easy to order. I ordered a Baja Bacon & Chicken Wrap. All went well and I was scheduled to pick it up at 12:30. I got there and it was on their pickup shelf ready for me. I grabbed my sandwich and was back out the door. I couldn't have been in the store for more than 20 seconds. When I got back to the office and opened my sandwich, it was exactly as I'd ordered it, and wow! was it good! The ingredient portions were perfect and it tasted wonderful. My experience at this Subway couldn't have been better. Next time I need something really fast, this Subway will be toward the top of my list.

My sandwich (cold cut) was horrible. The cold cuts were definitely not fresh...meat tasted old. Not good at all. The guy who waited on us was friendly but you could tell he was pushing through!!

i give a three star because it has been twice i make a online order and is late or not made at all. wish they pay more attention to online orders. not even an apology from the young guy there. if i didn’t already paid i would have turned around
