I bought food from Tasty Dishes for at least 4 times. The first time the food was not so bad and I really want to support a Nigerian owned restaurant. The last two food was so bad that I am forced to write this review. I got jollof rice that my wife couldn’t swallow a spoon off. And the vegetables soup that I forced my self to eat because I was so hungry gave me stomachache later. I will not patronize this place anymore. Please be careful if you’ll like to eat at this place

This restaurant is one of the few Nigerian-based restaurants in the area. The cooks are sweet and hospitable. They always are willing to try to get you what you want. The food is great. Try the fish, rice, and plantains. Soooo goooddd.

I live over and hour from this place and decided to check it out. I’m glad I did. The fufu & egusi soup with the spicy sauce was top tier. By far the best I have had. The service was great and the guy was super friendly. I was even given a bowl of water to clean my fingers after dipping them in the soup with the fufu. I would highly recommend stopping by this place to get some good food.

Met Opi and he was very nice and helpful! The food was great. Had the chicken and yellow rice. Don't know the names tho. Except for the Puff Puff, which I guess is just fried dough. That was yummy, and the name is fun! "Puff puff"

The only thing that was fresh, was the plantains. I was charged more than the price listed on the menu.

I'm so full right now after eating the joloff, fish egusi, puff puffs and fufu....but, their food is review worthy so lwt me push through this "itis". I drive an hour to get their food and always bring a friend or my husband with me...their food is fresh, delicious, customer service is impecable, take your time with them as they do not rush as food is carfully prepared for your enjoyment! I love this business and will always support as long as they thrive here

They always give me more than what I'm asking for! More food. More smiles. More cheer! If you need a tasty meal, make sure to eat here!!!

Very sweet owner! Drove 45 minutes to try out and wasn’t disappointed. I got fufu with okra stew including beef and my boyfriend got fufu with egussi stew. We both loved it and had great service

I frequent the Broad Street Market, but never gave this place a try. My daughter came with me to visit one day and was excited to see an African restaurant as she loves African food. She ordered Fufu and Egusi with chicken (spicy). The fufu looks like a ball of mashed potatoes...you use it to scoop the egusi and then you put it in your mouth an swallow. She loves it! I gave it a try and it wasn't bad...a tad too bland for me. I wasn't too hungry at the time so I didn't order anything but I'd love to try some of their other items. The husband and wife pair are so friendly and helpful. Great people! I recommend you give this place a try! Live a little!!
