While the food is consistently good, the service is lacking. I placed a large order online through their website. It was a fairly large order and was over 80 dollars. When the order arrived, three egg rolls were missing. I called the restaurant to let them know. I wasn't really expecting them to replace them but really just wanted to make them aware. The person who answered argued with me that they were in the bag. I explained that the three spring rolls were there but notthe egg rolls. The person continued to argue with me and then implied maybe the driver took them. Who knows, maybe he did, but that's just bad business to argue. Such a shame, it was our go to Chinese restaurant. We order at least once a month and this was actually the second time this week. I wasn't looking for an argument, I honestly just wanted to let them know. We will now be looking for a new place to order from.

Sorry for the lack of pictures. The wonton soup was very good but not hot. The pecking duck was tasty but the skin wasn't as crispy as it should have been with a good amount of fat between the duck and the skin. The shrimp in black bean sauce was the favorite of the table as was the fried rice. But all the food came out warm not hot. Service was fair due to not checking in or filling water glasses. The restaurant itself was nice and they have a large takeout business.

Decent food, the beef lo mien had a good portion of beef, noodles and vegetables. The wontons in hot chili oil were good too but the hot and sour soup was alright, could use more flavor, broth was not as rich, I like their noodle soups better.

Sampan Waz at one time a great restaurant. We stopped going for some time and tried them out again recently. We are vegetarians have been for over 25 years we ordered an entire vegetarian meal only to realize it was chicken. The last time this happened the woman argued with me claiming I did not order the vegetarian. I would not recommend Sampan and will not be ordering v from them moving forward. Very disappointing.

This is an excellent place for dining. We came at the beginning of dinner service, so it was peaceful. I especially recommend the tuna pizza appetizer. The food was fresh and delicious!
Ordered the curry chicken on Sat 9/16/23, too many onions (undercooked as well). The chicken was cooked nicely, but the sauce was thin and underwhelming.

My go to sushi place when I'm in Havertown. I usually get a bunch of spicy maki rolls and have never been disappointed. I have only gotten takeout but haven't had any issues with any of our orders.

Love it here! Food and drinks are amazing! Be sure to try the kimchi fried rice, dumplings and sake! It's a little tight with seating arrangements so you have to be comfortable with being close to others. It's also very dark/dim lighting that some may be uncomfortable to eat it. The staff's nice but sometimes booking on RESY your booking may not appear for the hostess. Find alternate or be prepared for that to happen and you be asked to wait.

Ordered sesame chicken, shrimp tempora, pan fried noodles, and white rice. The sesame chicken was chewy and the sauce was like gravy. Didn’t even end up eating it. The shrimp tempura tasted like batter and the pan fried rice was completely uncooked but burnt. Only thing that was edible was the white rice?
