Wonderful local bakery! It was a Sunday afternoon and we got to chat with the owner, she showed off the cute decor in the bathroom. It even had a small table that could be for diaper changing or just putting your bag down. So thoughtful.As for the food - she helped us pick a lovely assortment to celebrate my mom's birthday. Chocolate trifle with mousse in a perfect serving size cup, lemon cupcake, cannoli cupcake with real mascarpone cream. The ricotta cookies and coconut macaroons were my favorite!Definitely will be returning.Kid-friendliness: Family sized bathroom has a small table that could be for diaper changing or putting a bag down.

This place is extremely underrated! They made us 3 cakes leading up to our wedding-- maple, rosemary lemon and raspberry almond. They were able to accommodate our dairy-free needs. They were friendly, personable, humble, kind, generous and just an absolute pleasure to work with.My husband picked an image of a wintery cake off pinterest, and they nailed it!!!! Everyone comme Ted about how good it was.I think Sweets on Darby is our little secret for an amazing bakery in Delaware County. I will be going there for all my baking needs because I completely trust and believe in them!Oh p.s. the individual cakes for birthdays, valentines day, etc. Is a really nice bonus! I buy these often and they're so perfect.

Ok a couple of things- this wonderful little spot is near my daughter's day care and sometimes after pick up we will stop by here and grab a couple of things to snack on and maybe have something for dessert after dinner that night. My daughter will ask to stop by here daily. She points and says mommy I want to go there with the chair and table and cupcakes. The woman who runs the shop is a legit ray of sunshine. She is so kind and warmThe desserts are good. A very stable, good- a makes you feel at home, good. Is it amazing and mind blowing and you're gonna walk out of there and think this baked good has changed my life? Hell no. But you will take a couple bites of that sweet treat and think damn this is solid and delicious. She is the mom that’s is holding a tray of cookies after school. That’s how this place makes me feel.I love this establishment and I will fight anyone who says anything but positive words about it.Pro tip- Get the giant chocolate chip cookie it takes me about three days to finish it...
