I honestly don’t know why I keep ordering delivery from this place. I’ve had nothing but issues. They never ever come on time or even at a reasonable time. They give an “estimated” delivery and here it is 40 min past that time frame, still waiting. Every time.

I don't usually write bad reviews,but I'd say 5 times in a row,the delivery and food was terrible.Now,I've ordered many many times in the past and loved them.More recently, I have expressed a few times to them that,order was wrong,there is only a drop of gravey,things cooked wrong etc.The icing on the cake for me was I ordered a seafood dish and they gave me spaghetti instead of penne and garlic sauce was very minimal and served with ...peel and eat shrimp!!Wth?.Ive never seen such a thing!I called and felt they couldn't be bothered.Said they'd tell the cook.I am now done with ordering from here.I feel it's getting worse not better and I have spent a lot of money here over 2 years.Response to Dantes reply:You are not speaking truthful.I absolutely loved your food,as I stated.So,I didn't always complain.You never said any such thing about not coming anymore.I ordered online all the time...not since you "supposedly" told me not to come.I dont even have children.

OMGGG ? ? ? ?!! I don't normally post about places because I'm a local for about 40 years and I have eaten everywhere from waymart to newfoundland....there's not hardly any restaurant I haven't eaten at. I'm a foodie by nature lol, BUT.....BUT DANTES DINER/ PIZZERIA......Jesus Mary & joesph the food was unbelievably phenomenal. It's the best cooked authentic Italian food I could have imagined for not being NYC they bring my old fashioned NYC queens Italian food home to me. It's very difficult up here in " the sticks" to get properly great Made food. I couldn't believe how well and on point they made my penne al a vodka. This was to die for. Idk the chef ?? but hats off to him cause I'm ordering that from there once a wk now. Bruchetta and calzones... I can't say more good things then just go...just do it. It's affordable and beautifully satisfying to the palate. 5 stars ? for Dante....its worth the Google review!!!

While our server was very polite, it was perhaps one of the worst sit down meals we’ve ever had. The chicken parmesan was dry, flavorless, and petrified because it was obviously microwaved. It was by far the worst I’ve ever had. My wife’s beef gyro was also bone dry and flavorless. The side of cole slaw that she got was the size of one single fork bite. The appetizer also came out at the same time as our food which indicates that the chef has no concept of proper timing. When it came time to pay the bill, they didn’t comp the food because “it would alert the owner that they’re giving food away.” The owner should be aware of the low standards of food in this place, otherwise they can never improve. Hoping that the owner can see this and address it. The server was very kind and the atmosphere is what you’d expect for NEPA. The food was absolutely horrendous and deplorable. I would’ve taken a McDonalds lunch over this. Very sad experience and we will not be back again.

Everytime I place an order for delivery it takes over 2 1/2 hours to get my food. They are only 5 miles from my house. As I sit her writing this, I am getting more frustrated that I spent a lot of money and get food that is cold. . Placed my order at 5:34 pm and it is now 7:54 pm and no sign of the delivery person.8:13 pm still no food8:30 pm still no food8:39 pm I canceled the order and got no apology from the restaurant.When I placed my order, the roads were fine. As a business, I think you should keep your customers informed of delays. When I called, it just didn't seem like I mattered as a paying customer.

I would give ZERO if I could.. this was the third time they screwed up an order not to mention it was 4 hours late, I called at 5:30, they said an hour and half. I called at 730 they said it's on the way, I called at 8 they said the driver has it.. I called at 8:30 they said it never even left. I at that point said I didn't want it anymore and they said we'll it's made so it's on the way..40 min.later it finally arrives, completely wrong and they charged us for it. I wanted.to refuse, but my,husband insisted we eat it.. I refused to eat it because it was totally wrong and I had eaten my dinner that I made myself at 9 when I had waited 4 hours for the wrong order. I will NEVER order form here again and put more money into the pockets of these people.who didn't have the decency to even call and say they were running behind.terrible.customer service terrible time management.. terrible all around

It’s a bit of a wait time but I get the stuffed crust pizza and it’s an 18 inch for 19.95, tastes great looks nice. It also feels real, doesn’t feel like an average restaurant.
Good food at great prices. They give you a good quality also.

Being a new resident, I needed to find great takeout comfort food. Just to make me feel at home. Tried 6 locals, but met my expectations. Dante's. Perfect thin crust pizza.... pleasant service...... reasonable pricing. Thank you for making Hawley feel like home.

Delivery was over 2 hours late. When the food arrived we received the wrong salad, no sausage on pizza and the other pizza was burnt.
