I don't normally post about places because I'm a local for about 40 years and I have eaten everywhere from waymart to newfoundland....there's not hardly any restaurant I haven't eaten at. I'm a foodie by nature lol, BUT.....BUT DANTES DINER/ PIZZERIA......Jesus Mary & joesph the food was unbelievably phenomenal. It's the best cooked authentic Italian food I could have imagined for not being NYC they bring my old fashioned NYC queens Italian food home to me. It's very difficult up here in " the sticks" to get properly great Made food. I couldn't believe how well and on point they made my penne al a vodka. This was to die for. Idk the chef ?? but hats off to him cause I'm ordering that from there once a wk now. Bruchetta and calzones... I can't say more good things then just go...just do it. It's affordable and beautifully satisfying to the palate. 5 stars ? for Dante....its worth the Google review!!!“
“Came here on a Sunday at 3pm without a reservation and it was not crowded at all. Good, bc our daughter was loud. Anyway the food was pretty great for the middle of nowhere. I got the schnitzel at this steakhouse. Which was a mistake. The schnitzel was great, don’t get me wrong (with excellent potato pancakes and fried egg on top too). But my dad let me try his perfectly cooked medium rare ribeye. I I realized that I messed up. “We were able to work with Estelita's to coordinate a large takeout catering order for our 25-person corporate group. The staff at Estelita's were incredibly responsive and amenable to our requests, and worked with us to coordinate a food order that would support our group size and meet different dietary restrictions. We ultimately were able to offer our team a great spread of taco/fajita fixings along with sides that included delicious chips, guac and salsa.Everything in our order was ready for pickup on time, and the staff was so helpful in helping us collect and load the food. We were able to provide more than enough food for our group at an incredibly reasonable price, especially given that we were able to enjoy leftovers for multiple days. “If you are looking for somewhere to eat along Lake Wallenpaupack, this is the place. Something to note is that it is not lakefront, which is okay. As soon as you walk in, you get a lot warmer. Not cold, not hot. warm. It was very cold outside, so it felt AMAZING to get out of the cold weather. It gives off a very cozy, log cabin atmosphere. The chicken wings were excellent. If you really chicken wings, you should get these. The pizza was very good too. Something I thought was really cool was that they had projectors instead of tvs, so they could project four games at once. The bathrooms were very clean and not dirty at all. One thing I please ask is to keep them that way. I will definitely be back here again. Would recommend!“

Highlights included the flawlessly crispy catfish, golden calamari, and an exceptional eggplant tower that impressed us all. While the penne with vodka pasta and chicken waffle were decent, they didn’t quite match up to the other offerings.The pork chops were another highlight, perfectly juicy and delicious. Our meal was further enhanced by an inventive cocktail menu that didn’t disappoint. The strawberry cheesecake for dessert was simply divine, ending our meal on a high note.A special mention must go to our server, whose kindness and attentiveness made our dining experience even more special.
