“Wow! So delicious we ate here two nights in a row! Tried the hummus as a starter and the arugula parm pizza with prosciutto, really knocked our socks off with their fresh tomato sauce. Pistachio crust and lemon cheesecake for dessert really tied it all together. Service was great and the patio ambiance gives off a great intimate feel. Second night we had to try the chili dog and the ndujia pizza. I didn't think it could get any better but it was even more delicious. Topped it off with some Choco cake another perfect meal ! I had a few drinks off their menu some really great options with the green tea drink and a few mezcal/tequila drinks that added to the meals flavors. I was just in town for the weekend and happened to stop by on a search for dinner, I'm so glad I did! I'll be thinking about their great food and hopefully we will try to come out here again for more delicacies.“

“This is an absolute stand out. A total must if you find yourself within a reasonable vicinity of driving. Anticipate long lines. They supply many of the better restaurants in the area with their outstanding breads. Lisa's bread was by far my favorite, nice crust, tart dense interior. Although the brie cheese and pear pastry was superb. The pies were delicious as well. I've never had a straight up raspberry, mixed berry or a strawberry rhubarb yes, but not this. The pie crust is very similar to when you make it at home- buttery, flaky, nice balance between the crust and the rich fruit. Their website provides the option to order ahead and then pick up.“

“We frequently vacation around Lake Wallenpaupack for the past 30 years, and finally about 4-5 years ago stumbled over your shop. I can honestly say you make the best bagels I have ever had. The sandwiches for breakfast and lunch are tremendous giving a lot of variety, and the individual bagels are more than delicious. “I've been at The Heron 5 times over the past 7 years, 3 of them in the past half year. The quality of the food is really good and the portions are large. It's a bit pricey, but they don't skimp. The service is efficient and friendly. The atmosphere is nice, but a bit cramped since it's very popular. The hours are somewhat limited--it stops serving food by 8 p.m. Reservations are recommended!“

“Time to give credit where credit is due! Last night, four of us went to Tick Tocks on Terrace for dinner and it was delicious! I had the Pineapple Salsa Salmon, two others had the NY Strip Steak, and one had the Bourbon Glazed Pork Chop. We all raved how excellent our food was. The dining room has been tastefully redone and the atmosphere was as great as the food. Although it was busy, we could still hear ourselves talk, which was delightful. The service was wonderful, but never made us feel rushed. Several weeks ago I had lunch there on a Saturday with some friends and we too commented how excellent our food and the atmosphere was. If you haven’t been there in a while, you need to go.“

“Best vietnamese food I ever had. Very fresh, flavorful, and comforting. I had the mushroom and tofu pho and my husband had the pork chop rice bowl. We also got the chicken summer rolls and Vietnamese hot coffee. Everything was very delicious! The atmosphere is very nice too and friendly service. We definitely recommend and are planning to be back!“

“Great food. Personal pizzas were fresh and delicious. My 5 year old son who is a picky eater loved the spaghetti with a meatball (which was huge) and ate it all. My son also dropped a small toy down in between the booth seats and the wall and we could not reach it, the amazing gentleman working the front was kind enough to come back and pull of the booth seats so we could retrieve the toy which he didn’t have to do (we had just assumed the seats could not be moved and accepted the fact that the toy had been lost) So a huge thank you to the staff for going above and beyond and being great people.“
