My fiancé and I came in for a Valentine’s Day dinner. The place was dark, near empty, and the service was horrible. There were only 2 other tables present, and it took them 45 minutes to bring me a drink. My soup and salad arrived before my beverage. They didn’t have half the menu options, and upon leaving, the staff demanded a tip. Incredibly disappointing. 0/10- I would never recommend. Will never be going back.

Tap water was tainted. Seats were broken. Was told it would be a very long wait for hibachi even though it was empty. Beer was outdated.

Worst experience and will never go back. I ordered my food at 4:00 for pick-up at 5:15 - I had 6 hibachi dinners so I wanted to give them time. When I came to pick up - they had the young boy come out tell me it would be a few minutes and took my payment A half hour later - I asked him to check on it - and he said another 10 minutes! 2 hours to make 6 dinners. Wow. Then he brings it out and one of the bags dropped - they take it in the back and run a new bag out to me. I should have checked it - but by then it was after 6 and I was beyond mad. The one order was steak and chicken combo - there was no steak and no vegetables. I am assuming it got mixed up when it fell and I have no clue what they did with the steak and vegetables. Another combo was scallops and shrimp - and the scallops were burnt. I can spend $150 somewhere else - and I will because they just lost my business. No apologies either from them for making me wait an hour past my pickup time - it was like they sent the young boy out to take the heat - next time I want hibachi I will go to the new place in Hazleton.

I ordered beef teriyaki lunch box. Huge chunks of rubbery meat. Chicken wings were cold and tasteless. Waitress only brought food. Was not attentive. A 20 minute wait for check. 0/10 would not recommend.

So I come in regularly and order for pick up and most of the time the food is wrong or something wrong with it went in today to dine in was completely empty first the meat I ate was nasty and they gave me some hard and pieces of fat couldn't even chew the steak it was gross. Then ask for wings brings out these nasty old greased up wings, cook comes out and says I make japanese food w.e else then he said next time don't order. with a yellow breading now I've been to the one in wilkesbarre and I asked if they are same owners they said yes took an hour and a half to serve. When it's empty won't bother here anymore place needs a fix up as well just not worth the time.

Our reservation for peak dinner hour Friday night was unnecessary. Hostess was unwelcoming and unhelpful. The place is dark, dingy, dated, and largely empty. They offer Martinis and Sake but would not make Saketini, a two-ingredient drink. Cold sake was warm. Hot sake was warm. Hibachi dinners were very oily. Sushi was fine but served without utensils. Had to request chopsticks. Three diners traveled and spent $300 for this disappointing experience.

Roaches on the wall crawling around, the service was horrible only came by to take order and then bring to go boxes. Never got drink refills or came around because we got burnt sushi. And we were the only guests in the entire restaurant so they werent buys and i get why now. Was so sick from seeing a Roach on the wall right behind us and another one on the ceiling. And dead roaches around the corners. Servers made the excuse of bug guy just came but acted like it was no big deal there were roaches on the wall. Completely ruined all our appetite after just getting our hibachi and we didn't even take it to go since who knows where the roaches have been if they are even in the dining area. Can not believe I paid 100 to feel sick and nausea.

Wow. Not sure what happened here, but this place has gone from one of the best in Hazleton to now seemingly one of the worst. I had Hibachi steak with rice. The steak was burned heavily on one side yet undercooked, there was no sauce provided, the vegetables although cooked, were most likely wilting before being being cooked, the rice was not even mixed with half of it white half with soy and clumped together. Not a soul was in the place when we were there and now I know why. Not recommended at all.

Our group ordered Hibachi meals. Lots of food came with the meal, that we all had to take home the rest of our meal. Our chef was very entertaining and the food was very good.

The food is very good and when you dine in, they make it extra entertaining! Easily one of the best tasting places in Hazleton.

Food and service are great. Last time we were in there there was an odd and eerie silence to the restaurant that threw off the whole atmosphere. You can’t go wrong with the lunch sushi!
