My first time having their pizza was about 2 weeks ago.. I always saw it at the grocery store (sold boxed and cold) but didn't want to try it that way. So as I'm telling the bartender that this was my first time, the owner overhears me and comes out to talk and gives me a little history on the place.. he then tells me to hang around for a minute and goes into the kitchen and gets me another pie, this one on the house for being a newb. This little bar and pizza joint is my favorite so far in NEPA. The sauce, the bread, the cheese blend, it's all excellent! Super friendly and helpful staff, and they were happy to answer any questions I had. They have a nice bakery around the corner as wellThe pizza uses a local specialty cheese called scamutz, which is a regional take on scamorsa cheese. Stretchy like mozzarella, funky like provolone. It's used by a few shops in the area, but these guys had the best I've tasted....read full review

Take a walk back in time to 1933. This place is a GEM. Small intimate bar and seating for 15. The phone rings non stop and the bartenders chirp orders into a microphone to the kitchen. Beer is fresh and ice cold and a steady stream of people come and go getting Pitza to go. We got a 12 cut half schamutz/Romano and half sausage hot peppers.
