My grandparents are from nearby Lansford, so when I found these offered in my local farm market's freezer, I snapped them up, reading only the big print. Potato and Cheese. Prepared as directed. These turned out to be giant lumps of tasteless dough with less than a teaspoon of filling that seemed to be potato and leek. They were flat with a big flange of dough. They were awful. We ate 3 and gave up. We are throwing them in the trash. Only then did we read the list of ingredients with over a dozen chemicals. This morning a friend from Ukraine posted theirs. Full of filling, rounded not flat, they looked delicious. Skimping on filling as those in our bag were is not a recipe for success. I doubt grandma made them that way. Our New Year's Eve dinner was ruined. As in, we HAD NO dinner. So will be telling our farm market our opinion. Pity they weren't good. Very hard to find here.

I very much enjoyed visiting this store 2 weeks ago. I bought and am still enjoying T&L's pierogies, farmer's cheese and sauerkraut. Farmer's cheese is hard to come by and to me, is more traditional than potato and cheese. These are nicely made and generously filled. I was equally delighted to try their kolbasy "Lonczynski's". Nicely seasoned, it harkens back to local favorite Green View Meats that no longer exists. The taste of of this kolbasy brought me back. You never forget the flavors that you grew up with. Pay T&L a visit in downtown Hazleton, or buy their pierogies in local stores such as Boyers. Wegmans also carries. I can speak definitively on the kolbasy's availability. You should be able to buy at the Chestnut St. store. The owner recommends placing orders for holidays such as Easter. I'm delighted to have a new Hazleton business to add to my errands whenever I'm in town.

TThese are great! I don't bother with making my own, because these perogies ARE homemade and taste delicious.

I always buy the church made perogies, these are the closest to them that I ever tasted. Forget about Mrs. T's. These are delicious.

We love T&L Pierogies! We dont see them very much in New England (only in specialty Polish markets) but when I saw them in Wal-mart in Lehighton, PA I stocked up! They make so many varietys and are so good!
