Love this place and stop in too regularly! The cranberry Bundt cake for Christmas was utterly amazing, and just had an almond Bundt cake that was delicious. This place is addictive!

Owners were super nice and helpful. I got the Oreo cheesecake and it was so good! We also tried the tres leches cake and I thought it was one of the best we've ever had. I definitely want to come back here!

Food delicious with homemade pasta! Had a wonderful meal! Only issue was the seating in the small anteroom used for the pizza side of the restaurant. It was very cold, I had to wear my coat for the meal. There was a noisy pizza group on the other side of the curtain. I just feel that if we are coming for a nice meal, this side room does not give off the same ambience and warmth of the fine dining side of the restaurant. Was disappointed. Other patrons asked to be moved also but they were turned down too.
Our server was fantastic! She was the true highlight of the evening. Everyone was happy with their food choices with high marks for the gluten free pasta. I found the red sauce tasty with just the right amount of seasoning. Chicken cutlet was just a tad overcooked. Chicken Alfredo was amazing! One diner had the BBQ chicken flat bread and said it was right there with those he gets in a DC restaurant.

This is a neighborhood gem. It appears that there are a host of regulars and that says a lot. Not a lot of ambiance but I am Italian and the food was awesome and our waitress was even better than that! Make reservations as at 6:15 on a Saturday..the wait was over an hour..so if you want good food and good service and not worried about atmosphere..this shoukd be your go to place!!

While the location and people were nice. The food wasn't anything to write home about. Ordered crab tortellini, there were maybe 4-5 bites of small crab meat, so for thirty some dollars, not very happy about that. The sauce really didn't have any flavor at all either. The chicken piccata was certainly better, more chicken would have been better worth the cost. The best thing we ate and only thing we would return for was the lemon berry cake! Now that I wrote home about.

If you're looking for the most delicious, moist, flavorful and beautiful cupcakes, this is the place for you! They had a wide selection without being overwhelming. Their variety ranged from unique to classic and each one was just as incredible as the one before.We ordered everything from chocolate peanut butter, mocha brownie, french toast, carrot, red velvet, salted caramel, lemon blueberry, chocolate mint, cookie butter, coconut, chocolate raspberry, butterscotch, and double chocolate and there was not a bad one in the batch. The frosting ranged from decadent and rich to light and creamy, it was matched perfectly for the cake it accompanied, complete with garnish, drizzles and fresh berries. While all the cakes were amazing, the chocolate stole the show and remained moist and fresh even days after bringing them home which was a pleasant and delightful surprise!The owners, Vivian and Jeff (I believe he said his name was) were the most welcoming, humble, kind, friendly and genuine people you'll ever meet. The moment you walk in, you feel and, are treated like you're visiting an old friend, even if it's your first visit as it was ours. And while it was a first visit it will definitely not be our last to this darling shop.My boyfriend and I traveled an hour and a half to visit as we try new and different cupcake shops on weekends with distances ranging from fairly local to us-to hours away. We mentioned this upon our arrival and the owners couldn't believe we made such a trek and gave us samples of their homemade truffles which were unbelievably rich dark chocolate that melted like silk in your mouth.I cannot say enough wonderful things about this shop, the owners and the quality of their products. They help make life a little sweeter, one cupcake (or truffle) at a time!!!

As a restaurateur myself I can say that food was OK, waitress was great, but the host had a terrible demeanor and totally unfriendly. She didn't make us feel welcome and because of her in the future we will do our yearly party elsewhere.
We love Piazza Sorento. They have great reviews for gluten free, so it's nice to have authentic Italian and feel safe enjoying it. It's always a top pick for us when we are in the area!

We enjoy d our dinner very much. My wife had shrimp with linguine in garlic butter sauce. I had linguine with clams in a white wine sauce. Both were tasty and very generous in ingredients.

We chose this for a date night while visiting the area. Very authentic Italian with a quaint, old-world atmosphere and kind service. The house-made pasta was a treat, and we especially enjoyed the marinara - fresh and bright. Would come here again!

Stopped at the bakery for the first time this morning on my way home from a dentist appointment. Sign said they opened at 10 and it was only 9. Owner opened the door and invited me in. Super sweet and accommodating person! I bought half a dozen assorted cupcakes to share with my husband and a friend’s family. Husband already ate the coconut cupcake and gave it two thumbs up. Said the icing is awesome, and he’s very picky! We will be back for more!
