“Bryce (I hope I spelled it correctly) was our server today and was super friendly. He was quick with filling drinks and taking away dirty plates. He went out of his way to get my mother-in-law some peach jelly (I recommend this!). Great place and will definitely be back! Thank you Bryce!“
“Pickle brine chicken sandwich was delicious…didn’t actually taste like pickles but more like a spicy chicken sandwich…yummy none the less! Milkshake martini was a delicious desert drink! No reservation was needed around 1 pm.Parking: On site“
“Our family went to Devon last night and EVERYTHING was EXCEPTIONAL! We had not been there for quite a while due to some health issues but as soon as they were resolved we NEEDED to get to Devon for pure delicious nutritious succulent meals…and it didn’t disappoint! The surf and turf ( 8 ounce filet and scallops)were prepared to perfection (filets a perfect medium rare and scallops searedTo a light golden brown and the taste and texture were out of this world great!) The swordfish is a must have also again presented like a picture on a bed of orzo and veggies…incredible both to the eye and the palette! Last but certainly not least was the Alaskan halibut…if you want to enjoy the Freshest Flakiest Tastiest white fish you’ll ever have this should DEFINITELY be your choice it is truly INCREDIBLE! Sides of sautéed spinach green beans well done roasted Yukons potatoes complemented our entrees! All this was masterfully prepared by Chef Adam…thank you Adam…our sincere compliments to you!Now to the service…Nicole our server she is second to none! Her desire to want the quests that she serves enjoy relax and have the BEST dining experience of their lives is UNBELIEVABLE! She does it in the most personable and professional way and it shows in the happy faces of every one of her guests…WE appreciate her beyond words! A shout out too to our busser/biscuit deliverer/waterer Sylas(if those are even word) was quiet and unassuming but carried out his assignments flawlessly! Lastly we MUST thank General Manager Todd…you will not find a better run restaurant in Central PA! It’s no secret that we come to Devon because of him and the staff he has assembled…he’s tireless attentive kind and omnipresent…all with a welcoming sincere handshake…what other managers would ask how you’re doing after several months of absence and TRULY mean it! Thanks again Todd for the BEST NIGHT EVER!!!Hopefully you’ve gotten this far because the bottom line to all the above is….if you are ever in Hershey or Central PA for that matter DEVON is a MUST…you’ll NEVER be disappointed!“
“We have lived in the area for a couple of years now, and I've been wanting to try Hershey Pantry for a while. We finally went for breakfast, and weren't very impressed. While we loved the feel of the outdoor heated patio, the seats were difficult for our 2 year old to sit in with the booster seat and the food was bland. Our daughter ordered the chocolate chip pancake, my husband got the steak and eggs, and I got the breakfast skillet. I don't often salt and pepper my food, but I did this time. My husband and I felt that both our dishes were very basic in taste, like they didn't season it at all. We probably won't make this our regular breakfast place.“
“I can not say enough good things about this place. Servers are very friendly and attentive to your ever need. Food is as always hot and amazing!! I love that the staff remembers us and our kids, they truly love their customers !Kid-friendliness: Servers and staff are very kid friendly and love talking and interacting with the kids.“
“Broccoli Cheese & Bacon soup was not on the menu today for the second week in a row. Chicken Noodle or Pepper pot. Pepper pot seems to be always available. Specials menu is not reliable from week to week.Parking: Two handicapped spaces by entrance. Spaces in front and down the side of building.Kid-friendliness: Waitresses Always treat children like small adults.Wheelchair accessibility: A wheel chair ramp is next to the first space. Some assistance will be helpful entering the foyer with two sets of double doors.“
“Old World feel (established 1804) except for the modern music. Casual elegance. We arrived about 3pm, and the place was bustling with regular patrons even when the weather was gloomy (rainy and windy). Loved the freshly prepared tasty haddock and tenderloin sandwiches, onion rings, and fries.“
“Friendly service and owner dishing out awesome seafood steamer pots. Their house boil is out of this world and prices are good for the fresh seafood and pounds you are served. The boils are fully customizable so you can just order your favs, including the flavor and spiciness!Dietary restrictions: The perfect place for Keto!Wheelchair accessibility: 1st floor, lots of tables for easy accessibility“
“I would describe this restaurant as an old-school steak house. We chose to dine early in the evening and the while the service was excellent, it did seem that our server was a bit harried. My wife got the crab cakes and described them as deliscious, wjhile I got the fried shrimp which were also quite dood.Parking: This establishment has a large free parking lot adjacent to it.“
“This is a very nice restaurant. The atmosphere is welcoming and elegant. We were there the last week of November, and they had lovey decorations up. Our meals there have been hit and miss. Their specials are usually good, but they tend to overcook the beef items. Their sides are very good, but the choices tend to be limited. I would recommend dining here.“
“Absolutely phenomenal service for Saint Paddy's day. The special drinks were great! I got the Shepard's pie and some wings, which were fantastic. The atmosphere here is also great. It's perfectly lit and it is easy to have a conversation. Again, the service was just phenomenal. I wish I would have gotten the name of waiter so I could give him a shout out but I left my receipt behind.Parking: Lots of parking available in the rear.“
“Went to Falls hotel/crab shack for dinner and the food was pretty good. Broasted chicken was top notch. The cheese steak and fries were delicious. Only downside was going through the bar to get to the non-smoking section. That section was closed due to lack of staffing but the waitress let us sit there anyway and was very accommodating..“
“Friday night it turned into a hip date night spot for teens and young couples. It was completely full. Music was on brand, lighting, the food and service was steller for the price. Parking is free! The seafood specials are delicious. I even splurged and had the catfish po boy. The fish was supple, flaky, light, and delicious. I would go again but earlier than 9pm. The crowd shifts late night.Parking: Parking is plentiful. No tables were available and a 20 min wait but I still found parking.“
“Busy Friday night with some people from church- 11 people. Service was good though they did have to return multiple times to bring us corn tortilla instead of flour due to someone being gluten free. Probably went back and forth with it 3 times delaying the meal. I love their chicken enchiladas, and rice but the refried beans could be better. It is very conveniently located and will come back with our group again but if I had time, there are more authentic Mexican restaurants around.“
“Food is average.Customer service is great.Location is interesting, when do you see a Chinese Carry Out located inside a regular western supermarket?!I’ll probably come back again, because within 3 miles radius, there seems to be not much option.“
“We decided to place a large take out order today to check out the menu. Everything was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend everything we ordered- the pulled pork sandwich, crabcake sandwich, chicken wraps, burger, loaded fries, chicken tenders & of course, cheesecake. The owner was a total sweetheart & we chatted about his future plans for the (soon to come) bar portion. Can't wait to see what the future holds for Bruno's!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp on the left side of the building“
“One of the hidden gems of Etown, tucked in an unassuming space downtown. Their steamed dumplings are tasty and well-seasoned, the broccoli with garlic sauce is the best I've ever had, and the chicken teriyaki skewers are deliciously crispy, juicy and packed with flavor. Furthermore, the food is always hot and fresh, and I've never had an incorrect order. In other words, this is the only place in Etown worth getting Chinese takeout from!Vegetarian options: Delicious vegetarian options, especially the broccoli with garlic sauce.“
“The menu has lots of variety, but it is possibly too much variety to execute with consistent excellence. The food we ordered was average, lacking salt, seasoning, and basic flavors commonly associated with the meals we ordered. We ordered two Gyros, a regular and a chicken Gyro, and both lacked the tzatziki sauce that makes Gyros fantastic. Both also lacked salt. We also ordered salmon which was presented on a buttery hot plate but was broken into pieces and also lacked flavor. Our lemonade and water had a sulfur aftertaste. It seems filters are not used for soft drinks or water. When we entered we could not smell any food cooking, only the smell of the building, and the decor underwhelming.“
“My family and our friends were in town to visit and wanted to try a local restaurant. We loved it here! The food was great, service was friendly, the kids loved the atmosphere. It looks like your everyday local bar but the food selection was amazing. The only thing I would recommend if you have younger children, is to go before the bar rush starts around 9/9:30. I enjoyed it but my kids said it was loud lol. We’ll definitely be back when we’re in the area again!“
“My honey and I ate here for the first time on February 17. I can’t say enough good things!!! The food was fabulous - from the cream of crab soup, the crab cake, the filet - everything was outstanding. It was - hands down - the best crab cake I’ve ever had in my life! Our server, Darlene, was also absolutely phenomenal. She was so very kind and attentive - and thoroughly knowledgeable about the menu and all of the restaurant’s offerings. She was sure to make sure we knew all of our options, and pointed out all aspects to make our meal completely satisfying. We enjoyed our experience very much, and would recommend the Hillside Cafe to anyone looking for a fabulous meal!“
“Absolutely loved the liver and onions..done to perfection. I live in Mechanicsburg and don't like traveling across the river but this was well worth the drive. I'll be back again!!Parking: Lots of cars but we found a spot for dinner at 6 pm.“
“I did an online order with HHCH, and had a few concerns regarding my order. I called as well as emailed them, and their early response and resolution to my concern’s exceeded my expectations. When my crabs arrived they were absolutely delicious, and heavy. I’m from MD and moved further down south, As I understand it now Harbor House is in PA. But their seafood is as good as the seafood where I’m from. Great Job Harbor House I’ll be ordering again very soon from you guys.RespectfullyT. Washington“
“I ended up getting the endless shrimp. It was great! You think, oh, it’s just shrimp, I can eat this all night; wrong! I was so full so quick but it was worth it! The menu says you’re not really allowed to take your shrimp leftover home, but, I can’t really see a server telling you not to take food you paid for, so there’s that. My coconut shrimp did come out a little burnt, however, I’m not really picky when it comes to things like that, especially when sugar burns so easily but keep that in min if you don’t like “too” crispy. Of course the cheddar bay biscuits were the life of the party. So good. Every time I have them. And our server kept a fresh batch on the table. The service was phenomenal. From the bar to the table, back to the bar again, they didn’t miss a beat and were extremely friendly. It’s just so nice and refreshing dining with people who don’t seem like they hate their jobs. And the drinks were also great. Not too weak and delicious.I think Red Lobster is priced pretty decently. It’s not the cheapest but it’s not any more expensive then your average steakhouse. If you love seafood, I’m sure there will be something on the menu you will enjoy.“
“My family has been eating here for over a decade, and we all love it so very much. The cheese wontons are a standout and the pork egg rolls are always crispy and delicious. My favorite things to order are the chicken and broccoli, boneless spare ribs, or the general tsos chicken. The workers are super friendly. I will continue to happily dine at this establishment“
