“A restaurant located directly in the middle of a residential neighborhood. It was clean and welcoming. The food was very good and the robot that brings you your food and plays Christmas music was awesome! Be careful when ordering the spice (spicy) level. Basically everything 1-3 is the same, 4-6 is the same, and 7-10 is the same. I got a 6 on my meal and it was pretty darn spicy (my head was sweating), so exercise caution. We got the pad see ew with beef and it was very delicious. Also got the Pineapple Fried Rice with chicken. Some of the chicken was slightly rubbery so in hindsight I should have gotten beef instead. But the rice was very tasty. We also got Kra Pao Gai-Kai Down (chicken) and it was very, very delicious. Desert was Mango with Sticky Rice and it was good. I took one star off because they did not have the Thai chili peppers in fish oil (Prik Nam Pla) to put on top of my food. This could be because of the demand for it by their customers isn't very big.“

“We went into the taproom where there was a really nice bartender. They had a good selection of beers on tap and one dollar bags of popcorn. Nice place to stop in for a quick drink before heading home. Wooden tables, pool table, burlap sacks from hops or malt adorn the ceiling and walls of the taproom giving it a rustic vibe. We could hear the band from the stage area so it was a great place to sit and talk without having to shout at each other. Also a location on the 2024 Pour Tour!“

“I love this restaurant and always my go to when in the Greensburg area. Food is always exceptional at a fair price. The service is outstanding. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating. However with this visit, the Chicken Marsala was a little tough and not as tender as before. Also the bread was a little stale. The Chicken Parmesan was excellent and a very large portion. Overall, it was worth the trip and I would go back and try some other dishes on the menu.“

“We were passing through New Stanton, and had dinner at La Tavola. We sat at the bar, and had incredible service from Sandy, the bartender. The food was incredible. We had the artichoke appetizer, a Caesar salad, and the Veal Picatta and the special, which was a Swordfish with lump crabmeat. Also, the Crème Brûlée. All was incredible, and Chef Lou came out and chatted with us. A very special gem of a restaurant, which we would highly recommend!!“

“A hidden gem, as many people don't know much about it outside of parts of Westmoreland County. Amazing craft beer selection, nice large patio, and really interesting twists on a variety of foods. I had a really nice tender juicy duroc pork chop with a spicy adobo glaze, a serving of really fresh tasting mushrooms. My wife had the filet, but it was overcooked. She asked for medium well, but it was fully grey on the inside. Some chefs intentionally punish people who order medium well, by over cooking it. Not saying that was the case. We had the sticks appetizers, which sounded good, but instead of pieces of chicken wrapped up in the fried pastry, it was minced. Not a typical food consistency agreeable with the average American. Finally, it had barbecue sauce on it. I am not a chef, but it is never ever a good idea to serve anything other than ribs, with barbecue sauce on it. It cheapens the dish and overwhelms any other subtle flavors. Our waitress just stopped waiting on us, so I had to go up to the bar and ask for service. There is a guy who works there, head bartender, I think, really like the guy, as he's great to talk to. We did have some loud entertainment, though, sitting a few feet away from us. Still a 4 rating because we know what this place CAN be! We like The Headkeeper. We intend to go back as we think this was simply a one-off. We've been prior and liked both the atmosphere and the food!“

“There's a few parking spots right outside for pickup, which is usually what we do. The place is super cute and eclectic, they have a patio which I'd love to see when the weather is nicer! We have gotten take out twice now, both times have been really good. You can taste the quality ingredients for sure. I ordered the California chicken grilled cheese (without the aioli, I know shun me!) but it was awesome. Flavors worked very well together and every ingredient belonged. Would order again with a soup next time! The service here is awesome, everyone I speak to there is always super nice. It's quick to order and get your food and they have a little takeout counter so you're not fighting the bar crowds to pickup.“

“On May 8, 2024 around 2:30 pm, my family and I dined at the Juniper Grill - Murrysville, Pa. Each item was great accept for the Skillet Cornbread which had too much sugar on top ($6.50). The starter, Crab Tostada ($18) had a “very thick” Chipotle Crema but it was delicious. The one, approximately 4” diameter by about one inch thick Crab Cake on the salad was great. The Grilled Salmon ($25), take out Brisket Quesadilla ($17) and the Juniper House Salad ($6) were fantastic. While we were eating, the hostess used a mechanical sweeper collecting debris from the floor of the main area, near us. I asked her to do that work after we leave. She stopped and apologized to us. Hopefully, at our next visit we will enjoy a dust free dining experience.“
